• Drafted, commissioned, and edited original keyword-targeted content, including blog posts, guest posts, landing pages, and lead magnets
• Executed email marketing and outreach/link-building strategy
• Conducted SEO keyword research and competitor analyses
• Monitored site metrics to track traffic and user behavior
• Managed freelance and contract workers across various functions, including WordPress development, design, and social media/outreach

Major accomplishments include:
•  Led the “Content Blast” project, in which I edited, reviewed, and published 114 blog posts commissioned to freelance writers over a 9-week span. This resulted in +391% growth in organic traffic within 9 months.

Fulbright Foundation For Scholarly Exchange

As a global leader in cross-cultural and educational exchange, the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (FSE) has financed over 1,600 Taiwan grantees to the U.S. and more than 1,300 U.S. grantees to Taiwan. 

As Program Assistant, I focused primarily on creating onboarding materials and leading communications for the 2017-2018 cohort of English Teaching Assistants (ETAs). I also helped introduce ETAs to Taiwanese culture.

Because of visa/immigration challenges, I could not continue the role long-term. However, my time with Fulbright provided a memorable cross-cultural work experience—I learned to adapt to sudden changes and strengthened my communication skills.

Reasoning Mind is an education technology nonprofit that designs interactive, online blended learning programs for mathematics. In this role, I:

• Developed relationships with Houston area foundations and individual donors
• Drafted and edited grant proposals and reports for philanthropic gifts as large as $500,000
• Managed donor database and individual donor campaign

These experiences set me up for a career in content marketing—I learned the importance of understanding your target audience for more impactful messaging, and I also developed a thick skin for rejection.

Supported by the U.S. Department of State, Fulbright's English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program places grantees in overseas classrooms to provide assistance to local English teachers and serve as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. 

I taught English to grade 1-6 students at Jifeng Elementary in Taichung, Taiwan, and also facilitated day-long English "camps" with other teachers across Taichung County. From July to August 2015, I served as a Fulbright Summer Assistant in helping prepare incoming ETAs during orientation.
