Hi, I am Ahmed Osman and an Accountant which I have gained experience on the job.
My work experience is setting up and implementing system for a motor vehicle scrap yard (excluding inventory as the owner did not want one. I also worked for a builder’s hardware where I gained experience in reading plans and costing of building materials excluding plumbing and electrical materials. My experience in construction gained me experience with bulk buying building material sourcing the best prices. liaising with engineer’s, inhouse quantity surveyor and site foreman. Accounts to Trial balance ensuring materials and wages were costed to relevant projects. Site visits were done to ensure sufficient materials were on site to ensure continuity of work. Liaised with supplies as to delivery dates as required.
Costing of imported materials. Projecting monthly expenses for cashflows forecast. Reconciled leger control accounts. Allocating of cost to specific cost centres. Attended to VAT audits by SARS for sister company Winterfancy PTY LTD.
Maintained booking system (Access system) and costing as required. Collection of rentals, implement increases when required and maintenance of buildings. Salaries (own excel system), statutory returns and relevant returns. VAT calculations and submission. Loaded online payments for approval and release. Balanced control accounts, intercompany loan accounts, asset register, amortization of interest, liaised with auditors and provided them with an audit pack. 

With the experience gained working with departmental accounts, I would be able to adapt to any business adding value to the business from an accounting perspective
