Greetings and salutations, 

I'm Shirley Jean-Baptiste, MS, a class clown trapped in a copywriter/ghostwriter/resume writer's body. My quirkiness, quick comebacks, and whimsical imagination are reflected in the work I produce for my clients. I'm 10+ year into this transformative career path that keeps me on my toes creatively and strategically. 

However, before I dipped my big toe in the writing pool, I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in settings such as nursing homes, clinics, substance abuse, and correctional facilities. I also did taxes as an accountant. I have a bachelor’s in health management and a master's in accounting. Long Story. :) 

I credit my diverse work and educational background for allowing me to navigate seamlessly through different areas in advertising and marketing. I'm a Pisces-- I'm always up for something new and challenging! 

Writing for others is my life’s purpose and I embrace that wholeheartedly. 

How I  do feel about Artificial Intelligence? Well, it’s here. Is it better than the G.O.A.T aka me? Nope but just like everything I’m learning to adapt. 😊

I'm also enamored by eCommerce since I've enjoyed many wins from selling my ideas that I've turned into products (I’m a self-taught t-shirt apparel designer). I also write product descriptions, do product naming, and social media captions. 

But wait, there’s more! I’m a beast when it comes to writing resumes and cover letters.

But wait, there's even more to my hustler story. I co-own the cleaning co., Clean Then Chill LLC, in New York City working with residential & commercial cleaning clients.
