How to get clients to say yes without being pushy

For years now, I stopped asking 'are you interested?' and started assuming the sale. Close rate tripled.

Hey, Neighbor.

Every heard of the assumptive close technique. 

If you're a marketer or copywriter, then you should have.

For business owners (founders) here's what it means...

Instead of: "So, are you interested in moving forward?"

You say: "Based on what you've shared, this is clearly a fit. Let's get you started.

I'll send the agreement today and we can kick off Monday. 

Does morning or afternoon work better for our onboarding call?"

See the shift? 
You're assuming they're moving forward already.

You're asking about implementation details, not asking IF they want to move forward.

This works because you've already qualified them. 

You may not realize it but potential clients being on call/chatting with you means...
 
They have the problem, the budget, and the authority. 

Your job is not just to convince them you can solve the problem, it's also to get them to start with you ASAP.

If there's hesitation, it surfaces naturally:

Example...
"Actually, I need to check with my partner first." 

When you get to such specific concerns, you've won because you can address it better than general cold feet.

The assumptive close feels collaborative because you're treating them like they've already decided. 

I know you fear being too pushy which is why you're passive.

But why not be confident instead, assume the sale, guide the process...

After all, you're the best they can work with, aren't you?

Following up is not pushy or unprofessional.
