Let me tell you what’s actually happening.

Your product is genuinely good. The formulation is clean. The brand has real philosophy behind it. And somewhere, a shopper is actively looking for exactly what you built.

💥 Every pet parent wants the same thing a healthy dog who actually enjoys their food. But that one desire contains a tension most Amazon listings never resolve.

"𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺" and "𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨" rarely live in the same place.

The healthy option is what your dog tolerates. The exciting option is what they actually run to the bowl for.

Unfortunately, most supplement brands lean so hard into health messaging that the listing starts to feel like a doctor's office, and nobody is excited to be there.

Altira sits right in the middle of that tension. A vet formulated multivitamin that dogs genuinely get excited about. And the product images had to hold both sides of that promise at the same time.

So every image was built to do double duty.

The health benefits are there: broken down clearly, backed by real ingredients, easy to scan. 

But the feeling is also there: happy dogs, mealtime that looks like a reward, a product that says "𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘰𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴" before the customer reads a single word. 

Because that's what moves a pet parent from curious to convinced.

They need to feel like they're making the right call for their dog's health and their dog's happiness, at the same time, in the same frame.

When your product images nail that, buying stops feeling like a “𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬” decision and starts feeling like the obvious next step.

💥 The Amazon listing that's hardest to fix isn't the broken one. It's the one that looks fine.

Fine doesn't show up in your analytics as a problem. Fine doesn't trigger a review meeting.
Fine just quietly underperforms while you wonder why conversion isn't where it should be.
Not broken enough to flag as a problem. Not good enough to actually convert the way it should.

That was Kodiak's listing. Built around the product. Which is… fine.

All informational — how to make the pancakes, what's in the mix, here's the nutrition label up front. Accurate. Thorough. But completely missing the point.
The shopper landing on that page wasn't asking "𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴."
They were asking "𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘮𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘴."

The listing wasn't answering that question.
So every frame got rebuilt with a job to do.
The difference is visible the moment you put them side by side.

🔙 BEFORE: Recipe instructions, product stacked six deep, a nutrition label as the closer. Every image saying "𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴.

AFTER: A stack of pancakes that looks like a weekend worth having. A headline that says "𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵." Social proof from real customers. An outdoor lifestyle shot that connects the product to the life their buyer is actually trying to live.

When a shopper is already decided, friction is your only real enemy.
Every image in your stack should remove it.
This is what it looks like when an Amazon listing is built with intent — not just content.

We worked with Altira, a dog gravy brand, whose product solves two big problems for pet parents: 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 + 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲

But their original Amazon listing? Cute dogs, happy vibes. Exactly what pet parents want but the product itself was lost in the background.

Here’s how we fixed it:
1️⃣ Put the product front and center – Dogs love it, humans need to understand why.
2️⃣ Show the outcome – Joyful pups eating a multivitamin that’s healthy and delicious.
3️⃣ Speak their language – Copy that sounds like the pet parent, not a clinical label.
4️⃣ Visual hierarchy – Health benefits are clear, ingredients easy to scan, and taste and excitement obvious.

The result? Pet parents instantly see the transformation: a dog excited to eat again, shinier coat, better digestion, and joint support. The images no longer just “look cute”—they sell.

So look back at your product image stack and ask yourself:
❓ Is your product the star, or just a prop?
❓ Do your images show the transformation your customers actually want?
❓ Can a shopper understand your product’s value in 5 seconds or less?

If the answer isn’t a confident “yes,” your listing is leaving money on the table.

They’re not hoping shoppers convert—they’re designing for it.
𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁: more units per order, stronger recall of Super 5, and customers who circle back for the next flavor.

Everywhere else on Amazon, competitors share the shelf. On your Storefront? 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙩.

🛑 If making more sales is all your think your A+ does, you’re shortchanging your brand.
For some brands the stakes is more than that.

Don’t get it wrong, A+ is a closer, but nothing is worse than losing shoppers to a reseller before they even try you.

When you're a recognized brand selling on Amazon, resellers are a real problem. A shopper could land on the wrong page, have a mediocre experience, and never come back. And for a brand where repeat purchase is everything, that first impression isn't just important. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲.

So when we rebuilt Kodiak's A+ content, the question guiding every round wasn't just "𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴?" It was "𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘶𝘯𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘒𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘬?"

Here's how the rounds shaped that: 

Round 1: The foundation. Brand voice established, key benefits in place, the wild spirit of Kodiak starting to come through.

Round 2: The story deepened. More brand narrative, tighter copy, the mission starting to feel as strong as the product.

Final Round: Everything clicks. Trust signals impossible to miss, flavor variety front and center, and a listing that could only belong to one brand.

Now when a shopper lands on the real Kodiak page, they know it immediately.
That assurance is everything for both your shoppers and you, because your A+ content isn't just selling to new shoppers. It's protecting your existing ones.

When it's done right, no reseller can replicate it. And no shopper can mistake it for anything else.

💥 A negative review on Amazon is rarely about the product. It's about the gap between what the listing promised and what the customer experienced.

Every single one of those reviews could have been prevented by a better listing.

The issue was the listing just wasn't communicating any of it clearly enough.

When we rebuilt the A+ content, we were designing something that looked better AND we were closing the loop between what the product does and what the shopper understands before they buy.

That’s the gap we closed across three rounds of A+.

👉🏽 Round 1: The foundation was there, but the story was still doing a lot of explaining.
👉🏽 Round 2: Cleaner hierarchy, stronger flow, easier to scan.
⚡ Final: The page commits—less “bathroom product,” more toilet protection with proof up top and a clear promise you can understand in one glance.

What changed as we iterated:
> Outcome-first messaging (so the benefit lands before the details)

💢 Amazon is sunsetting Shoppable Collections (Beta) on Feb 27, 2026 — and I’m still processing it.

We got the notice this week.

If you didn’t use it: Shoppable Collections lived inside A+ Content and let brands curate related products right on the PDP. It wasn’t just a “nice-to-have module.” When it worked, it pulled shoppers deeper into the brand world at the exact moment attention was already earned.

So yeah… I have thoughts.

Here are the most likely reasons (and I’m calling them theories on purpose):

1) Usage didn’t justify the investment.
Amazon doesn’t keep features alive on vibes. If adoption stayed niche, it’s hard to defend ongoing support—no matter how much a small group loved it.

2) It created too much “brand gravity.”
Great for brands. Potentially not great for Amazon’s broader browsing + monetization machine if it reduced cross-shopping.

3) It looked good… but didn’t move intent enough.
Engagement isn’t the KPI Amazon protects. If it didn’t reliably lift conversion or basket-building, it becomes a target fast.

4) Consolidation into Brand Story.
Amazon has hinted the best parts are being folded into Brand Story. If true, this may be simplification—not removal.

What we’re doing on our end: making sure Brand Story is doing real work before Feb 27. If Brand Story becomes the primary “below-the-fold brand layer,” it needs to earn the scroll.

👉🏽 Make sure your PDP doesn’t lose the “browse deeper” momentum

This brand’s product is not simple.
It’s a post-surgery pillow with gel packs, adjustable stuffing, detachable straps, multiple use cases.

Which means the A+ couldn’t just be pretty.

When we reviewed their intake form, what stood out wasn’t “𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯.”

It was:
"𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣."

Where the gel pack actually goes. That you can adjust the firmness. How to wash it properly. How it fits different body types. What the straps do. How big it actually is when worn.

If that information isn’t intentionally structured, shoppers piece it together themselves — and that’s where friction happens.

What does the shopper need to understand first? What needs a visual instead of text? What reduces hesitation? What sets expectations properly?

Here's what we focused on across every round:

✅ Fix the confusion before it becomes a bad review Misplaced gel packs. Unexpected sizing. Wash damage. These weren't product problems — they were listing problems. We made the right usage obvious, not optional.

✅ Lead with trust signals loudly 200,000+ happy customers. 6+ years in the market. Nurse-recommended. That's not a footnote. That's the headline.

✅ Show what shoppers are actually asking Will it fit my body? Can I adjust the firmness? Will it protect my incision from my kids and pets? We answered all of it visually.

✅ Build a flow, not just a gallery Every module earned its place. We cut repetition that felt accidental and kept the reinforcement that felt intentional.

✅ Make the comparison impossible to ignore The Us vs. Them module to show just what they are getting. Adjustable firmness, dual gel pockets, detachable straps, and all the things competitors can't check off.

Three rounds. One clear direction: less confusion, more confidence, more conversions.

That's what good A+ Content does — it doesn't just look the part. It sells the part.

🛑 If you sell kids' products on Amazon, you can’t afford to be “just cute”

Focusing on making your product cute is the mistake I see in this category. Two things matter when working on your listing especially your product stack:
👉🏽 Are your answering the questions parents are silently asking?
👉🏽 Are you selling the transformation?

It’s true people don't buy your product, they buy the transformation and relief, and when someone is shopping for someone else, a child, a grandkid, a niece that transformation has to be crystal clear before they'll commit.

Your image stack has to do both: answer the parent AND sell the feeling.
That was the exact thing we did with Mumaloo, we stopped selling the product and started answering the parent.

Before: Busy, colorful images that looked great but said nothing. It assumed parents already trusted the brand, so it never bothered earning that trust.

After: Every slide answered a parent's unspoken question.

✅ "Will my kid actually stay busy?" → Real kids, real excitement, caught mid-craft. 
✅ "Is it going to make a mess?" → Mess-free creativity, shown not just stated.
✅ "Is this actually good for my child?" → Educational benefits laid out clearly,fun alone doesn't sell to parents. 
✅ "Can I trust this brand?" → Award badges and outcomes parents actually care about, front and center. 
✅ "What exactly am I getting?" → A clear breakdown, because parents can't be too careful.

The goal? Getting a parent to stop scrolling and think "I need this for my kid right now. It's educational, fun, and worth every penny."

That's the reaction every image stack should be designed to create.

💢 Not every brand loses on Amazon because of bad reviews or weak SEO. Some lose because their listing is speaking the wrong language entirely.

Categories like supplements, health products, medical devices — shoppers need data, proof, and detail before they trust you enough to buy.
Lead with the transformation and they'll think you're hiding something.

But there's a type of brand that information will never sell. No amount of checkmarks, comparison tables, or feature callouts is going to close the sale. Because the shopper isn't there to be informed. They're there to see and feel the experience.

Unfortunately, The Herbal Zen's old A+ content was selling an experience brand like an information brand.
Some things had to change like

Before:
⚠️ Plain product shots lined up in a row
⚠️ A comparison table with checkmarks
⚠️ Features listed, feeling missing
⚠️ Wasted real estate with no story, no lifestyle, no emotion

After:
✅ A benefit-first headline that opens with transformation
✅ Lifestyle imagery that puts the shopper inside the experience
✅ Benefit icons built around mood and outcome
✅ A product-in-use section that shows the ritual, not just the product

The product never changed. The listing was just misrepresenting it. Fix that, and the shopper sees something completely different.

💥 Your Amazon storefront isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s a conversion asset.

Amazon just added a new Agent Policy to the BSA update.

Automation inside Amazon now comes with stricter rules.

From March 4, any AI agent or automated system touching Amazon services must clearly identify itself, follow policy requirements, and stop access immediately if Amazon requests it.

This goes beyond a simple policy note.

Automation across DSP, AMC, reporting tools, and internal workflows is getting closer scrutiny.

And that matters for anyone building systems around Amazon advertising.

Here is what is interesting for me:

• Automation now needs accountability built into it
• Access and compliance are becoming part of the ad infrastructure
• Tools without governance will struggle to last

I see a lot of excitement around AI handling campaigns, reporting, or optimisation. So, the opportunity is real.

But sustainable systems come from structure, visibility, and controlled access.

- Clear processes.
- Proper API usage.
- Audit trails that make sense six months later.

If your automation depends on scraping, unstable access, or unclear permissions, this update is a signal to rethink the setup.

Amazon has begun merging certain promotion tools under a Price Discounts dashboard in Seller Central.

Prime-Exclusive Discounts are now managed through the same interface.

This is important for operators running promotions alongside PPC.
This affects:

➜ conversion rate during campaigns
➜ keyword ranking velocity
➜ TACoS stability after the promotion ends

With discounts handled from one dashboard, promotion planning becomes easier to coordinate with advertising and inventory decisions.

But it allows operators to:

• Align promotions with PPC pushes
• Coordinate deals with inventory planning
• Control margin impact during ranking periods

Coupons and Deals still exist separately, but Amazon is gradually simplifying the promotion environment.

For brands running ranking campaigns or deal-driven launches, this is worth paying attention to.

Small platform changes can reshape how promotions and PPC interact over time.
