My journey into the world of venture capital began during my college days when I first encountered the concepts of startups and VC. From that moment, I knew I wanted to build a VC fund one day.

During my master’s studies, I delved deep into the role of venture capital in closing the equity gap in Poland, even dedicating my thesis to this subject. My first hands-on experience came when I began evaluating business plans for business angel competitions, an opportunity that introduced me to the world of early-stage startups.

Not long after, I crossed paths with a group of private investors launching one of Poland’s first private VC funds. I joined as their first team member and had the privilege of shaping the entire process from the ground up. What I didn’t realize then was how invaluable this experience would become—not only for the skills I developed but also for the relationships I forged. Many of the connections I made during this time would later prove instrumental in building my own VC fund. Unfortunately, the fund came to an unexpected end with the passing of its founder and my mentor.

From there, I worked in two seed funds focused on investments across Poland and Europe. These experiences exposed me to diverse approaches to seed-stage investing and taught me the nuances of working with founders from different markets. Simultaneously, I served as an advisor to Rndity, a hardware-software powerhouse whose projects were later acquired by leading tech players. This role gave me a unique perspective on VC structures and the challenges they face when linked to an operational business.

Eventually, I joined a fund that invested in energy tech startups across Europe, managing a portfolio of over 200 startups. This period was transformative: I explored ecosystems across the continent, traveled extensively, and even had the honor of chairing Europe’s largest energy startup competition. Along the way, I met the person who would become my future business partner.

Together, we saw an opportunity to combine private and state capital to create a new seed-stage fund under the Bridge Alpha program. Raising private capital was a monumental challenge, but it taught me invaluable lessons—and ultimately led to the creation of LT Capital in 2017.

Since then, LT Capital has become one of the most active funds in the region, partnering with 34 extraordinary founders who inspire us every day.

Today, my energy is fully devoted to growing LT Capital and preparing for the next chapter of this journey.
