Day zero in Thailand.
We arrived a day early so we could settle in, get organized, and be ready to welcome everyone as they arrive.
This morning we walked through the open market, soaking in the energy of real Thailand. The smell of fresh street food, local vendors setting up their stalls, and that feeling of being back in the place where so much of my story began.
Moments like this remind me why I love bringing people here. It’s not just a retreat. It’s an experience.
Of course, even in Thailand, the work never really stops. A little market exploring… and then right back to planning, preparing, and making sure everything is ready for an incredible few days ahead.
So excited to see everyone tonight. This week is going to be special.

People sometimes ask me why I work so hard and why I care so much about what I’m building.
The answer is simple.
I believe in what I do.
Nothing meaningful is built without resilience. There are moments when things are uncertain, when people doubt you, when the road feels heavier than you expected. But those moments are exactly where your character is revealed.
I didn’t come this far to back down.
Every step, every challenge, every late night has been part of the process of building something that matters. A platform for authors. A community where voices are heard. A place where people with ideas and stories can step forward and be seen.
I do this work because I believe authors change the world. Ideas shape culture. Stories give people courage.
And when you truly believe in something, quitting isn’t an option.
You keep going.

You keep showing up.
No excuses.
No backing down.

There was a season in my life where I had this big vision in my heart… and absolutely no evidence it would work. No big investors. No massive team. Just me, a laptop, and this deep belief that authors deserved more.

That question wouldn’t leave me alone.

But I couldn’t ignore it.
Because I’ve always believed authors carry power. Stories change families. Books change industries. Words change the world.
And I didn’t want powerful voices staying small.
So I built the stage I wish existed.
Not because it was easy. But because it mattered.

Day 1 of the Author Retreat in Thailand
Let me be clear… this might secretly be an eating retreat.
We arrived at the resort and it was absolutely beautiful. Calm, peaceful, surrounded by nature. The kind of place where you immediately feel your shoulders drop and your mind slow down.
We started the day gently. No rush. Just listening to our bodies and allowing ourselves to settle into the experience.
Breakfast this morning was extra special. My mom prepared an authentic Thai meal for everyone. Watching the authors enjoy the food I grew up with felt really meaningful to me.
After breakfast we walked through the jungle to a small temple nearby. Quiet, simple, and grounding. Then we spent time by the pool having our first real conversation together about the theme of this retreat.
What does it actually mean to “Be the Change”?
Each person here has a different answer. Different experiences. Different stories.
But one thing became clear to me today.
This trip is more than a retreat.
It’s a transformation.
A moment for each of us to pause, reflect, and prepare ourselves to become the change we want to see in the world.
I feel incredibly grateful for the privilege of guiding this experience and walking alongside these amazing authors.

Entrepreneurship will shape you in ways most people never see.
People think building a business is about money, strategy, or success. But the truth is… entrepreneurship is one of the greatest personal development journeys you will ever go through.
Entrepreneurship teaches you discipline when you don’t feel like showing up.
It teaches you how to work hard when the results are not immediate.
It teaches you resilience when things don’t go your way.
It teaches you how to pivot when the plan falls apart.
It teaches you dedication when the vision is bigger than your comfort.
It teaches you boundaries when your time and energy become valuable.
It teaches you leadership when people begin to follow your vision.
It teaches you courage when you have to make decisions others don’t understand.
It teaches you patience because real success takes time.
And it teaches you responsibility, because the results are on you.
The list goes on and on.
Today on Day 3 of our retreat in Thailand, we spent the morning visiting a beautiful temple. But even during the two-hour van ride there and back, the work didn’t stop.
For those two hours on the road, we turned the van into a moving mastermind. I was mentoring my clients, helping them shape their business ideas, refine their vision, and turn what’s in their mind into something real.
No stage. No office. Just a van full of entrepreneurs committed to building something meaningful.
This is the life of an entrepreneur.
You don’t clock in and clock out. You grow through the process.
And if you honor the process long enough, entrepreneurship doesn’t just build a business.
It builds a better human being.

Phoenix was beautiful. The red carpet. The authors. The celebration. But what touched me the most was my team.

People see the photos and the glamour. I see the sacrifices. I see the teamwork. I see the loyalty. I see the love behind the scenes.
I could not do this alone. And I do not want to.
I am so grateful we are building this together. Phoenix was special because of YOU.

There was a moment today that really stayed with me.
We spent the day building a playground for the kids here in Thailand. Watching everyone work together, lifting, carrying, laughing, sweating in the sun… it reminded me that the most meaningful work in life is often the simplest kind. Creating a place where children can just be children.
But the moment that touched my heart the most came later.
We gathered the little girls together and gave each of them a Barbie doll. Some of them held the dolls so gently, like they couldn’t believe it was really theirs. Their eyes lit up in the most beautiful way. Pure joy. Pure innocence.
Then we sat together and read them a story.
Seeing them listen so closely, holding their dolls, smiling and dreaming… it reminded me why this work matters so much. Sometimes the smallest gift can open a child’s imagination and show them that their life can be bigger than the world they see around them.
Moments like this stay with you forever.
This is why I believe in impact. Not just big stages or big titles, but real moments that touch real lives.
My heart is so full today.
Thailand will always be home. And these children remind me why we keep building a better world.

Day 2 of the retreat, and my heart is so full.
This morning, we started the day with yoga, breathing in the calm energy of Thailand before the day began. Moments like this remind me why I bring people here. When you slow down, you can actually hear your purpose again.
Later today, I had the honor of speaking at the college where I once sat as a student myself. Standing on that stage and sharing the message “Be the Change” felt deeply personal. Years ago, I was the girl in the audience dreaming about what life could become. Today I returned to give back.
We were able to present scholarships to students using the profits from the Hollywood Gala 2025. Watching those students receive support for their future was one of the most meaningful moments of this trip.
Afterward, we walked through the most beautiful flower garden. Just being surrounded by nature, community, and purpose reminded me how powerful it is when people come together with intention.
This retreat is not just a trip. It’s about growth, impact, and remembering why we do what we do.
