The fourth step to being a better leader is to know your skills and competencies and develop them continuously. You should also identify the skills and competencies that are essential for effective leadership in your field or industry and seek opportunities to learn and practice them. 


Some of the skills and competencies that are commonly associated with leadership include:


➡️Emotional intelligence: 

The ability to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions and those of others.


➡️Communication: 

The ability to convey information clearly, concisely, confidently, and respectfully in various modes and contexts.
