Amazon is a search engine for driving customer acquisition.

The most valuable real estate on Amazon: top-of-search organic ranking on non-branded search terms.

Yet, instead of acquiring this real estate, the prevailing "strategy" too many brands, agencies, and automated softwares employ targets ad profitability, usually measured by ACOS and ROAS.
