I've spent 10+ years working in technical B2B SaaS companies—from employee #3 stage through Series C. I've been lucky enough to work at companies that got acquired (Knack, Mode Analytics), which taught me a lot about what actually matters when you're building for the long haul.

What I do:
I build product marketing from scratch at technical companies where "product" actually means something in product marketing. My sweet spot is complex products—AI/ML infrastructure, data analytics, developer tools, workflow automation—where you need someone who can talk to engineers and then translate that into messaging that makes sense to buyers.

I've led marketing at places like Wallaroo AI (MLOps infrastructure) and LeadIQ (sales tech). I've also done foundational PMM work at early-stage startups still figuring out their positioning and GTM strategy. Turns out I'm drawn to the messy early stages—building frameworks, setting up processes, helping teams figure out what resonates.

What I've learned:
I care a lot about cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, and go-to-market. Too many Product Marketers forget about the "Product" in their title. I actually like working with technical teams to shape what we're building, not just marketing what gets shipped.

I'm comfortable building with constraints. I've rebuilt marketing with little-to-no budget, launched products without big teams, and figured out how to move fast with what we have. Turns out constraints make you creative.

I've gotten pretty good at translating technical complexity. Whether it's ML model deployment, data governance, or gnarly integrations, I can take technical capabilities and turn them into narratives that resonate.

I have strategic and tactical range. I've led teams and worked solo. I've built integrated campaigns and shaped company-wide positioning. I can do the high-level strategy work and also just get stuff done.

Right now:
I'm running ProductColab, helping early-stage technical companies build their marketing foundations—positioning, GTM strategy, messaging, and the cross-functional bits that connect marketing with product.

Hey Gong team, big fan of the platform, but I want to pitch you a feature I'd love to see built natively.

I'd loveee a direct LLM integration (Claude would be my first choice right now) that lets us create a notebook or project and do natural language Q&A across all of our customer call transcripts — no middleware, no extra tools, no third-party layer sitting on top.

Kinda like MCP with CDPs, where you can talk directly to your customer data. The use cases basically sell themselves:
→ "What are the top 3 pain points customers mentioned this quarter?"
→ "How are prospects responding to our new pricing messaging?"
→ "Which objections are killing deals in enterprise vs. mid-market?"
→ "What feature requests come up most in renewal calls?"
→ "Summarize every call where churn risk was mentioned in the last 30 days."

You have some of the richest conversation dataset in the world sitting in your platform. The missing piece is letting us actually *interrogate* it like a database through an open, conversational interface.

I know there are third-party tools building a layer for this (and some are bolting it onto support tickets and CRM data), but the whole point is that we don't want another tool. This should live inside Gong, native, with the full transcript corpus already connected.

Exciting career update! I’m SO excited to announce that I’ve taken on a new role as Head of Product Marketing at Optiversal. And it's veryy "on-brand" for me. An AI startup that I truly feel is changing the game for retail/eComm brands.

And I want to share WHY this move feels so energizing to me.

There’s a lot of noise right now about how AI will change eCommerce/retail. One of the narratives I'm hearing is that we’ll all end up shopping through one giant AI interface, where agents automatically buy everything for us.

But that misses something fundamental: shopping isn’t just a transaction. It’s discovery, inspiration, and experience. People don’t just want an agent to buy things (I certainly don't...just because an agent CAN book a hotel room for me doesn't mean I want it to!).  We want to browse. Compare. Add things to a cart. Be surprised. Fall in love with brands. 

Even in categories that "should" be automated, I think brand preference still wins. Convenience doesn’t erase loyalty. Efficiency doesn’t replace emotion.

That’s what drew me to Optiversal.

Their vision isn’t to replace shopping with a single AI destination. It’s to power the intelligence underneath every shopping experience, wherever it happens, optimizing interactions while preserving the human moments that make shopping enjoyable.

This company feels like one of the best kept secrets in eCommerce right now. They’re already working with some of the top retail brands in the world, quietly powering experiences behind the scenes.

Hi PMM friends! Looking for 3 examples of really cool things you've done with AI to make your life as a product marketer better/easier.  Of course I have my own ideas and stories, but I don't like to work in a vacuum!

My plan is to highlight YOU and share your stories at the PMA Summit in NYC on March 12-13 (and if you're going to be there, let me know!)

I almost didn’t make my speaking session this week thanks to some truly chaotic travel delays. And while that sounds like the setup for a “what airport disasters taught me about B2B SaaS marketing” post… lol, not this time 🙅‍♀️ 

What it actually reminded me was that I really crave being around my people (my husband thought I was crazy trying to make it work, and that was fair, but I was determined 😅).

Product marketers who genuinely care about the craft. The ones who want to learn from each other, support each other, debate positioning frameworks over drinks, and occasionally admit we all have a bit of a product marketing identity crisis.

Being in a room full of PMMs again reminded me why I love this field.
A few things that really stuck with me:
1️⃣ People don’t remember what you say. They remember how you made them feel. Whether it’s a product launch, a keynote, or a sales story… emotion is what sticks (shout out to Senda B.)If you want to be remembered, you need emotion. Yes… even in B2B. Especiallyyyy in B2B.
2️⃣ What is the story you can tell better than anyone else?  Not the feature list. Not the messaging doc.  The story only you can tell about your product, your customer, or your journey. (LOVED your presentation Elliott Rayner)
3️⃣ Samantha Rideout, besides just being an awesome human, discussed the "PMM Operating System," focusing on how to build credibility and influence early (the "First 90 Days" playbook) to ensure PMM has a seat at the strategic table from day one.

For me, my AI talk might have been a little… unhinged. In hindsight I probably should have just sent an AI avatar of myself (jk),  but honestly...seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and spending time with people who care deeply about this weird, wonderful craft of product marketing was the best part.

It's a COLD monday in march, and I’m grumpy today…so here are 10 things I hate about LinkedIn... 🤣 

1️⃣ The “comment ‘INTERESTED’ for the resource” bait.
If you made something helpful… just share it. We’re all tired. #NeverHaveIEver

2️⃣ “Stay tuned…” posts.
For what? Season 8 of your launch announcement? I already forgot why I was waiting.

3️⃣ The humble brag wrapped in a life lesson.
“I accidentally hit record pipeline while on vacation… here’s what leadership taught me.” Sure.

4️⃣ Posts that clearly took 3 hours but start with: “Quick thought…”
Nothing about this 12-slide carousel was quick.

5️⃣ The fake vulnerability formula.
“I don’t normally share this…”
…and then it reads like perfectly polished brand copy/chatGPT slop (yes, I said "slop" which I also hate..)

6️⃣ Engagement pods pretending to be organic discussion.
10 comments in 30 seconds all saying “So true 👏.” though, I am guilty of a couple of these.

7️⃣ The “AI is replacing everything/coming for your job!!!” panic posts. 
Meanwhile we’re just trying to get a clean meeting recap and survive Monday.

8️⃣ The endless buzzword salad.
Agentic. Transformational. Disruptive. Synergistic. I need a translator.

9️⃣ The “Agree?” at the end of every post.
Sometimes I don’t. And that’s fine.

🔟 The 10-slide carousel that could’ve been one sentence.
Swipe… swipe… swipe… oh cool, it’s just “know your audience.”

LinkedIn is still amazing for learning and connecting, but sometimes it feels like we’re all playing a character instead of just being human.

What’s YOUR biggest LinkedIn pet peeve? 😅

They say “never meet your heroes,” but this was a great exception to that [silly] rule. Can confirm that Tamara Grominsky is just as amazing IRL as she is virtually, and she knows how to bring GOOD people together. If you’re in her PMM Camp community, this is no surprise at all, but..it hits different when you have everyone sitting around a table having a little wine and an espresso martini (or two).

Top 10 AI Marketing Leaders to Follow in 2026 - AI Marketing

So many of you know that I was playing around with Gong last week, but over the weekend (because of course), I thought of another thing to try.

We all have "competitor" filters set up to flag calls where competitors are mentioned. But what about creating a "Sales-Call-to-Battlecard"??

Treating competitive battlecards like static documents is so old school. Now PMMs have the ability to do dynamic enablement, aka using AI to turn raw sales call recordings into high-impact, objection-crushing talking points in minutes.

So instead of waiting for a quarterly review or win/loss analysis, use AI to analyze "lost" moments in sales calls from the past 48 hours to update your competitive talk tracks faster.

How to do this:
1. Extract the "Voice of the Skeptic"
• Go to your call recording platform (Gong, Chorus, or Zoom) and export the transcript of a recent discovery call where a competitor was mentioned.
• AI Action: Paste the transcript into an LLM (like Gemini or ChatGPT) with a "role-play" prompt.
• Prompt: "You are a Product Marketing Manager. Analyze this transcript. Identify every instance where the prospect mentioned [Competitor Name] and what specific objection or concern they raised. Categorize these into: Pricing, Feature Gap, or Brand Trust."

2. Run a "Gap Analysis" vs. Your Source of Truth
• Upload your existing Product Messaging Framework or Feature Spec (Langley Barth, I think last week you were talking about using AI as a mirror for your messaging doc? love it!).
• AI Action: Ask the AI to compare the prospect's concern with your current messaging.
• Prompt: "Based on our Messaging Framework (attached), how well does our current 'Why We Win' talk track address the objections identified in the transcript? Highlight where our current messaging is too vague or fails to address the prospect's specific pain point."

3. Generate the "Micro-Battlecard"
• Ask the AI to rewrite the specific section of your battlecard to be more tactical for the sales rep.
• AI Action: Create a "Response Script."
• Prompt: "Write a 3-sentence 'If they say X, we say Y' talk track for our sales team. Use a 'Feel-Felt-Found' framework. Ensure the tone is confident but not dismissive of the competitor."

Why This Works
• Speed: You move from "The market is saying..." (anecdotal) to "On Tuesday's call, the prospect said..." (data-backed).
• Relevance: Sales reps are 10x more likely to use a battlecard if they know it was updated based on a conversation that happened yesterday.
• Accuracy: It forces your AI to stay grounded in actual customer data rather than "hallucinating" generic marketing fluff.

Bonus points for sending this info directly into a #CompIntel slack channel.

So grateful for another Women in PMM session this week 💛

In honor of International Women’s Day this Sunday, we had some incredible guest speakers join us, and it felt extra special.  One of them was Leora Halpern Lanz, ISHC Lanz, one of my very first bosses during a summer internship during college and a long-time mentor ever since.

Leora is the definition of a passionate marketer. She built an entire career leading in this space and is now shaping the next generation of marketers as a professor at Boston University. Watching her evolution, from operator to educator, from practitioner to mentor has been incredibly inspiring.

There’s something powerful about seeing women who paved the way continue to lead, teach, and create space for others.
I love this group of women.  I love how openly we share the real stuff - the wins, the doubts, the “I wish I knew this 5 years ago” moments.  I love how we actively support each other (instead of competing with each other).

And it meant so much to have Leora Halpern Lanz, ISHC in the room.  Full circle moment in the best way.  Thank you to Kelly Koster for joining as well and sharing her experience (shout out to Hannah Pickering for the introduction!).

Here’s to more women building, leading, mentoring, and lifting each other up not just this week, but always. 💛

BIG news from Lovable!! And I'm obsessed. If I didnt love them enough already...

1)Cross-Project Referencing means you're no longer starting from scratch every time. Lovable now pulls context from your existing files, components, and chat history across projects. Reuse. Iterate. Ship faster. Your institutional knowledge finally works for you instead of getting buried in Notion.

Here's an example:
Say you built a launch landing page for a previous product release in Lovable. It has your brand components, your pricing table logic, your waitlist form with the Zapier hook, all of it.
When you start a new project for the next launch, instead of rebuilding from zero, you reference that old project and tell Lovable: "Use the same hero layout and waitlist form from my Q4 launch page, but update the copy and swap the feature screenshots."
Lovable pulls in the components and context it needs, and you're iterating on a working foundation instead of prompting from scratch.
For product marketers specifically, this is huge because your assets tend to be repetitive by design like launch pages, one-pagers, competitive comparison tools, ROI calculators. The structure is usually the same. The content changes. Cross-project referencing means the third launch page you build is dramatically faster than the first, and your brand consistency basically comes for free.

Another good example: you built an internal competitive intel dashboard last quarter. Now you want a customer-facing version. Reference the old project, tell Lovable what to strip out or simplify, and you have a starting point in minutes rather than hours.


2) Native Slack integration...HECK YES! Your Lovable apps can now read and send Slack messages, post updates to channels, and surface AI-powered insights right where your team already lives. Think automated launch summaries, real-time campaign alerts, or a Granola meeting recap that flows directly into your #product-marketing or #GTM/#Sales channel(s) without anyone lifting a finger.

3) Linear integration..wow. pull issues into Lovable, build a prototype, push updates back. The gap between "what PM wants" and "what marketing needs to communicate" just got a lot smaller.

→ It will access ChatGPT, export the System Prompt, download the knowledge base, and learn from past conversations

𝟯. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:

→ Go to Settings > Data controls > Export data in ChatGPT
→ Upload the archive to a new Claude chat and ask it what it learned about you
→ Paste the results into Claude's memory settings (Settings > Personalization)

Years of context and conversation, migrated in 30 minutes.

You can import it in your Claude and say "migrate my XYZ GPT into a skill." Works for Gemini too.
