Out of the last 2,154 days, I've shown up and posted here on 2,151 of those days. 

After coaching 2500 people over the last 700+ days, I can tell you that the opportunity we have right in front of us can change your entire life in a short period of time. Truly, have never seen this platform like it is today. It is inning 2 on LinkedIn.

I normally tell you things to do that would accelerate your impact but today I am going to list 4 or 5 things NOT to do because I think most people don't understand what is considered catastrophic to a creator here.

1 - Being Hyper-Niche & Looking the same daily 

Let me explain. I love niche content, I really do. But if you are only known for that one singular thing then you will struggle to break out and you will have to be top 5% in that niche to capitalize. 

As far as the looking the same daily, yea that is my big one. I call this moment in time, the "bored and fast time." This simply means that people get bored with you faster than they ever have so you need to look different daily to shock your feed. You want them to not know what to expect from you and keep them on the edge of their seat!

This also means sharing short form, long form, pictures, videos, etc - have to create for all sides of the brain.

2 - Building a tight knit community of loyal peeps

This is one that I see absolutely destroy new creators because they think this is the way to grow while in reality it is the way to stall all growth.

Engaging with 1st degree folks, same people daily even going as far as saving profile pages in different tabs to get notified. 

Then, you wake up and you are in a 1st degree vortex which means you are hanging with like .000001 % of the platform and that won't let you grow. 

Go meet 2nd and 3rd connections and have some fun and get out of your bubble. 

3 - Creating fire content but not using the entire platform

This one is what most founders and c-suite leaders I work with struggle the most with.

Just because your content is good, does not mean people will engage. It is unfortunate but LinkedIn is a reciprocity social media platform, you have to give in order to get - no one cares about your title.

What I mean by this is, commenting on others content, responding to your comments, sending dms, dropping recommendations, introducing people to each other, teaching people through your content, etc. 

4 - Crazy formatted content with bolding, emojis, italics and other things that look non native to LinkedIn. 

This is one I have been watching for the last year and have a good amount of data on. 

The people consuming your content want to feel like YOU wrote it vs an outside tool or Ai so you immediately lose trust when it doesn't look normal. Your community starts to look elsewhere, and your impact dwindles.

For Cisco directed a cross-functional team of over 105 members worldwide, overseeing all incoming/outgoing logistics and international shipping operations. Managed logistics, help desk, and global compliance services for Cisco offices in the US, Canada, UK, and the Philippines. Introduced advanced enterprise communication tools and program management processes, raising operational efficiency by 25%. Spearheaded new program services, including inbound/outbound receiving software and intelligent lockers, enhancing service delivery across all locations.

• Proactively migrated new program services across all locations, including inbound/outbound receiving software, intelligent lockers, and digital mail.

For Meta/Facebook, headed a client service staff of more than 125 members across the US to direct overall logistics operations of x-ray and multiple detection technologies and solutions. Servicing over 21,000 clients with over 2,000 deliveries per day. Spearheaded program management and logistics services within all US Meta/Facebook offices, while managing P&L valued at $10M annually.
• Established five new locations and developed a standardized first-day-of-business task list to ensure the smooth execution of future operations.
• Fostered a strong collaboration between Global Security and EH&S teams to ensure the safety of operations for all staff.
• Managed over $150K in cost savings during the first 90 days through vendor and vehicle optimization.

Clarivate CompuMark

Steered America’s client service and call center teams to provide phenomenal support and services from subject matter experts. Led processing of proper transactional invoicing worth up to $50M in revenue annually. Facilitated a company engagement to deliver over 400 hours of community service, while donating $10K in service projects through a successful volunteer partnership with The Home for Little Wanderers. 
• Attained optimum client satisfaction and cash recognition valued at $500K to the company annually by identifying cash application opportunities and re-engineering the entire process. 
• Appointed to Boston Leadership and Wellness Councils, improved health and fitness equipment/programs to reinvigorate healthy programs for employees by designing and securing $40K in grant funds.

Manager, Client Service Americas

• Turned around and saved a failing $1.8m account through quick strike action and communications plans. 
• Renewed and expanded a $1.4m client through superior service and staff development. 
• Implemented successful regional Field Support staffing project for backup and special projects.   
• Mentored, promoted, and developed 14 team members, collectively leading the region.

Senior Area Manager

I’ve always been about the people. Whether leading large facilities service operations teams, mentoring professionals, raising funds for charity, or walking zoo guests through the story of rescued animals and conservation, my best days are when I get to serve, connect, and lift others up.

For years, I climbed the corporate ladder in many verticals — developed raving fans, built systems, led change, and delivered results. I’m proud of that work. But along the way, something shifted. The title mattered less than the team.

These days, I find meaning in different places:

• Being fully present—for my family, my community, and what comes next. 
• Learning, speaking, coaching, having empathy, and using strong EQ for my communities.
• Active healthy lifestyle including hiking, rucking, and traveling. 
• Volunteering at the Oakland Zoo, sharing the conservation message with the next generation.

I’m not done leading—I’m just done chasing. I’m looking to bring my energy, my experience, and my heart to an organization that values people over profits, impact over ego, and community over competition.
