Contracting as one of three fully remote developers, hired to implement Powys council’s “Digital Strategy”; I planned, developed and delivered several NodeJS, PostgreSQL based services and worked extensively with the public sector CMS Goss ICM. These services required interfacing between various government platforms, as well as meeting current legislation around accessibility and GDPR. Within a short deadline, I built the database and backend functionality for the Powys Covid Contact Tracing System, which was then adopted by several councils across Wales, prior to the release of the NHS version.
