I wasn’t supposed to be here.

Five and a half years ago, my life was going the other way...

I was: 

🔹Drinking every day
🔹Running from myself

And one night alcohol took my right eye in a freak accident

That was my wake-up call.

I had two choices: 

1. Keep spiraling downwards (and potentially die) 
2. Rebuild myself

I chose to rebuild.

I got sober. 

Which forced me to face the sides of myself I’d been running from. 

And in the process, I discovered something most people never realize...

Your identity shapes your whole reality. 

Who you believe you are determines what you're capable of creating. 

That lesson became the foundation of everything I do now.

When I started my consulting business...

I was in college studying audio engineering.

Just a normal guy who had to figure it out from scratch.

Since then... 

I built my consulting business to six figures organically on LinkedIn.

And I've watched my clients break through the same walls I had broken through in my own life.

Today, my mission is simple:

How To Win on LinkedIn

I used to think some people were just naturally good at stuff. 

And it made me beat myself up for it.

Writing online?
They must be natural writers. 

Cold outreach?
They're probably just born confident. 

Starting conversations?
Some people are just extroverts.

I gave up even before trying.

But none of it was actually hard. 

It was just unfamiliar.

My brain tricked me into thinking new = difficult. 

But new just means you haven't done it enough times.

I used to sit there piling up excuses.

Telling myself all the reasons why I couldn’t do it. 

Why it wasn’t the right time. Why I wasn’t ready.

But let’s be real…

Even I knew those excuses were BS.

You're not bad at it. You're just new at it.

And new is fixable.

Write the messy first post. 
Share the imperfect work.
Send the awkward DM.

Stop labelling “new” as hard.

And do it anyway.

How I use design to drive sales. 

Most people start with no featured section. 

Or worse… 

They add viral posts, dead links, or random pictures. 

Stuff that looks busy but does nothing for the business. 

No CTA. 
No reason to click. 

Same thing when clients come to me. 

They’re not using that space to its full potential.

But I don’t treat the featured section like a trophy wall. 

I treat it like a landing page. 

If it doesn’t build trust or drive action, it’s out.

Selling something? That goes in.
Promoting your book? That goes in.
Growing your newsletter? That goes in.

Most people design like they’re decorating. 

I design like I’m selling. 

That’s why my clients get clicks and conversions. Not compliments.

One makes you feel good. 

The other drives your business forward.

Most people think they're bad writers. 

They're actually just bad at making people care.

Here’s how to make people want to read what you write:

Share insights, not information. Anyone can Google facts.
Nobody stops to Google your fancy words. Write simple.
Write short sentences. Easy to read = hard to ignore.
Don’t talk about your offer. Talk about what it solves.
Cut anything that sounds nice but means nothing.
Focus on ROI. What's the return on reading this.
Open strong. Your first line decides everything.
Ask questions. Get them mentally responding.
Use real situations, not “relatable” metaphors.
People trust confidence. Speak in absolutes.
One post = one idea. Save the rest for later.
Use numbers. “3 ways” beats “some ways.”
Break your text. Make it easy on the eyes.
Sell your stories before you sell anything.
Most readers are on mobile. Write like it.
Respect reader’s time. Get to the point.
Don’t write to everyone. Write to one.
Write like a human. Not ChatGPT.
End with something that lingers.
Hit their fear. Then solve it.
Use “you” more than “I.”

Everyone has something valuable to say.

Not everyone knows how to make people listen.

Posting generic “leadership lessons.”
Using complex sentence structures.
Copying what big creators say.
Overexplaining simple points.
Writing long paragraphs.

What actually works on LinkedIn:

Creating clean visuals.
Writing in active voice.
Adding one CTA per post.
Framing ideas with “How I.”
Choosing simple language.
Speaking directly with “you.”
Writing with clean formatting.
Prioritizing clarity in every line.
Breaking text with white space.
Keeping sentences short (one-liner).

And don’t forget to…

Share real experiences and POVs.

You don’t need complicated systems.
You don’t need 20-step strategies.
You don’t need to sound “smart.”  

You just need to say something real, and say it clearly.

P.S. Do you add CTAs to your posts?

It’s insane how much money people spend.

But still avoid doing the exact things that actually move the needle.

Slapping a $5000 brand identity.
Hiring the most expensive strategist.
Buying every shiny AI tool on the planet.

If you zoom out for a second…

What you see as investment is often just a spending spree.

Here’s how I’d fix it (If I were in your place):

Document real experiences.
Write POVs that show how you think.
Talk about decisions, mistakes, pivots, pressure.

And most importantly…

Create clarity content.

It’s not easy, but it’s not complicated either.

You already have the raw material: your experience. 

Use it.
