Y'all the job market is f#@k'd right now!

As an entrepreneur I'm used to the ups and downs, but I can't imagine always being employed, get laid off, and then apply to 500 jobs before landing one. 
Each day I get on here I see brilliant people with the same story.

My heart hurts for so many people right now. 💔 We have to go beyond our own struggles and understand we live a parallel existence and hardship is not unique to just one person or demographic.

My family does not support my business.
There I said it! *exhales* 🫣 

That’s a hard sentence to write, but it’s the truth.

I’ve been a full-time entrepreneur for 15 years. My children’s livelihood depends on the success of what I build. I’ve created a beauty brand, built community, employed people, and served customers around the world.

And yet, not a single family member buys from my company as a regular part of their purchase habits.

They’ll brag about how much they spend on big-name brands they’ve never even tried, but not mine.

It’s disheartening, but I know I’m not alone.

So many entrepreneurs whisper about the same thing: how the people closest to them can be the slowest to believe in them. Family support shouldn’t be about understanding your business model, it’s about believing in you.

My daughter has no idea I’m posting this but… 

Shania is a fashion designer who’s already created custom pieces for big-name celebrities, and now she’s working on her first couture holiday gown collection, a new ready-to-wear line, and accessory collection.

Her first accessory is the limited-edition Jelly Fish satin-silk scarf, inspired by the beauty of Portugal and her latest summer collection (see pics).

The scarves are artistically printed based on the hand design and painting of her custom boxes. She has just 100 scarves available and profits will help fund the materials needed to complete her upcoming collections.
