I Trained Claude to Write Like Me

When everyone started switching browsers for AI, I paused.
(I did something much better ↓)

And it worked better than I expected.

Yeah. So let me explain what I actually did.

I stayed on Chrome.
Opened LinkedIn like I always do.
And added Claude as a Chrome extension.

That’s it.

Now Claude sits quietly in my toolbar while I scroll with no tab switching and copy-paste gymnastics.
Just context, right where I’m already working.

Here’s where it gets useful:

- When I see a long thought leadership post:
I click the icon and ask for the core idea.

- When someone drops a 12-slide carousel with gold inside:
I ask Claude to turn it into a framework I can reuse later.

- When a post explodes with comments, and I don’t have time:
I ask what people are really objecting to.

- If there is a video with no transcript,
Claude reads the captions and gives me clean notes.

- Even competitor research feels lighter.
I’m on their profile, still inside LinkedIn, asking what themes they keep repeating.

The thing is, I don’t want a new browser.
I don’t want a new habit to maintain.

I want fewer decisions and better context.

- Let sentences flow unevenly, the way humans actually speak.
- Make sure it feels like someone is thinking in real time, not copying a pattern.

So basically, train it on your own voice.

When AI is trained on your voice, LinkedIn reads it as human behavior.
Because the signals are human.

The actual workflow we use to remove AI patterns and make writing sound human again is inside our program.

If it’s off, adjust one detail and regenerate. 

Don’t redesign from scratch.

I stopped using a design tool for every small edit.

ChatGPT can now connect straight to Adobe Photoshop, inside the same chat. 

You upload an image, type what you want changed, and it edits it there. 

No switching tabs. No back-and-forth with a designer for small fixes. 
No opening three tools just to change one thing.

Here’s what I want you to do.

Open ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and connect Photoshop. 
Once it shows as connected, you’re ready.

After that, you upload your image and type @AdobePhotoshop in the chat. 

That’s how you tell ChatGPT to use it. 
From there, it’s just about being clear with what you ask. 

If your prompt is vague, the output will be vague. 
If you say exactly what you want, you follow it properly.

What I like is that you’re not stuck redoing everything. 
When the visual is close but not quite there, you get sliders to adjust things like detail, intensity, and style. You tweak it a bit, see the preview, and move on.

This matters if you post carousels on LinkedIn. 
The ideas are usually not the problem. 

The friction is waiting for edits, fixing small design things, and losing momentum. 
This workflow cuts that down. You can get clean, consistent visuals without slowing yourself down.

Open your phone and talk for one minute.

A client message or something that happened about your business recently.

Okay, so then we take that raw video and drop its transcript into ChatGPT. 
Then use a simple prompt to turn those spoken thoughts into a clean LinkedIn post 
That still sounds like them.

Now this is where most people stop, and that’s the mistake.
We don’t post it once and hope.

Inside Notion, we take that same post and adjust the angle. Same story, same core idea, but framed slightly differently depending on who’s reading. 

All right, so once it’s scheduled with a simple “DM me” CTA, the system takes over.

LinkedIn is the worst place for fresh content ideas.

Yeah. So let me share how I actually find content ideas.

And it is not by scrolling LinkedIn.
That’s the worst place to look.

Because LinkedIn only shows what worked yesterday.
By the time you see it, it’s already done and reposted by someone else.

The thing is, I don’t want ideas.
I want the problems of my clients.

That’s why I spend time on Reddit.

People don’t posture there.
They complain and ask for help when something is stuck.

And that’s where the real content lives.

I’ll open Grok and ask it to find subreddits where my audience hangs out.

Then I jump into those threads and search for phrases like
“I’m struggling with” or “I can’t stand.”

What shows up isn’t theory.
It’s frustration, raw and specific.

Now here’s the important part.

I don’t touch AI yet.

I first read.
I copied the post.
Then I read the comments.

Because the comments tell you what they tried and what failed.

And what they’re tired of hearing.

Only after that, I bring AI in.

I paste everything into Claude and ask it to shape ideas around those problems and organize what’s already there without invention from scratch

Then I validate with Grok again.
To see what angles are missing, not what’s popular.

That’s it.

I just got off a call with LinkedIn’s internal team.

What they told me explains why so many LinkedIn accounts are getting fewer views.

The issue is not the algorithm update or the time you post.

The real reason is the huge rise in AI-made content on the platform.

They said there has been a 5,670% jump in AI slop in the last few months.

This wave is pushing their systems too hard.
