Second, I know leadership and business from the inside.

I’ve founded + scaled three companies across different sectors from CRM software with global teams, to bricks-and-mortar local operations, to hybrid executive coaching & leadership development.

I coach from reality.

My work is Spirit-led and grounded in the Word of God.

Let me share a powerful story of redemption and restoration with you. 

Maybe this is you. 
Maybe this is someone you know. 

A year ago, Dan (name changed to respect privacy) was living in one of the darkest seasons of his life.

He was the Principal Partner of an  Established Financial Firm. 

Had experienced significant financial success. 
Gained respect in the community. 
President and Chair of multiple organizations.
Beautiful home, beautiful family.

The kind of life people quietly compare themselves to.

But behind closed doors, everything was coming unraveled at speed.

Alcohol had taken control of both he and his wife’s lives. They were drowning in a pit of addiction and codependency.

That led to betrayal, more pain and broken trust. 

Their marriage hit its breaking point. 

He was having one health issue after another: heart complications, blood pressure issues, physical exhaustion, mental fog.

The once successful business he had spent decades building was collapsing. He couldn’t believe it got to this point. 

Bankruptcy was a real conversations and only viable solution.

Underneath it all was deep shame & embarrassment. 

How could he have failed in such a way? 

How could he DO this to himself, his family, his business? 

There were moments he genuinely wanted to hit the eject button on his life.

It was the perfect storm to break loose the future. 

Fast forward to today. 

The business is no longer in survival mode.

Every debt has been paid off.

Business is cash positive. Retention is up. The team is healthier and more aligned.

New service offerings launched bringing in better clients, higher margins, less grind.

His marriage is in the best place it has ever been.

They both reclaimed their health and conquered addiction. Sober for a year. 

Today they work out together.
They know how to laugh again.
They’re present with each other.

They’re choosing each other daily because they understand intimately what they were about to throw away. 

This month they are finally getting away for a solo trip together. Something they have not done in years.

It’s still a work in progress.

Transformation didn’t happen overnight or  by “pushing harder.”

It happened because he made a decision to stop avoiding and  face the brokenness, rebuild his marriage, have difficult conversations and press into a NEW reality.

This year, my North Star is EXPANSION by ELIMNATION.

We want to experience greater joy, peace, clarity, fulfillment, alignment, freedom … all of it - but we don’t make room for these things in our lives. 

Had a conversation with a client yesterday

“I have got to do something. There’s no space in my mind. 
In my day. 

I’m back to back to back - no room to think or breathe. Surrounded by clutter, 300 emails that I shouldn’t even see, stacks of responses waiting on me.

I am the bottleneck around here here.”

Reality check; Expansion doesn’t start on the outside. 
It starts on the inside.

Everything we experience externally is a reflection of what’s happening internally.

The leaders I work with are 
doing great work. 

They’re leading strong teams. 

They’re carrying meaningful missions. 

And yet the number one struggle I see over and over again is bandwidth issues.

Mental bandwidth.
Emotional bandwidth.
Physical bandwidth.

They wake up racing. 

Their mind flooded with to-do list, problems to fix, fires to put out, people depending on them. 

Their thoughts are on a constant loop. 

The phrase I hear more than anything is, “I can’t shut my brain off.”

The issue isn’t that they aren’t thinking enough.

It’s that there’s no room for NEW thinking.

No room for strategic thinking.
No room for fresh perspective.
No room for new systems that will better support them and their organization.

No room for LISTENING to what God is inviting them into next.

The vision for the next season requires a new operating system. 

New ways of thinking. 
New structures and systems.
New ways of solving problems. 

And almost always, it requires pruning = ELIMINATING

Here’s where many of us get stuck.

We want more… so we add more.

More meetings.
More commitments.
More initiatives.

We’re great at adding to our calendars, but we rarely expand through elimination.

The invitation this year is different.

To be a leader who has ROOM.
Room to think strategically.
Room for white space to receive.
Room to slow down and reflect.

Room to create and innovate rather than “fix”. 

Room to experience life more richly and fully,

To be ALL IN and present where our feet are planted.

This is the edge so many leaders are actually looking for.

The goal absolutely not about doing more.
It isn’t being busier.
It isn’t stacking more onto an already full life.

It’s ELIMINATING what’s nonessential—energy suckers, misaligned opportunities, outdated processes, even good things that no longer belong in this season.

When we do that

We experience greater clarity.
Greater flow.
Greater momentum.

And from there, execution becomes lighter. 

Results come with less force and far greater peace.

This applies in every arena of LIFE & BUSINESS.
