But then I went on his profile and saw his last post. It starts with:

No, no, no!
Nobody talks like this in real life. But still, we see this type of content every day in our feeds.

So I'll simply say that, on November 27, I'm speaking at the Tekpon AI Summit in Bucharest. 

I'm not an AI expert, so why would I speak at an AI event?
Well, because people who built AI tools need to market and sell them.
And content plays an important role in any go-to-market effort. 

There are so many AI tools and solutions on the market that claim you can use them to create authentic content that sounds like you.

But this is a lie. That's simply not true. 

And I know this because over the past 2 years, I've written more than 1000 LinkedIn posts.. 

So far, I haven't found a tool to create content that actually sounds natural. (I won't claim to have tested them all, so if you find one that truly does it, please share it with me.)

BUT using AI in the process definitely helps. Just not in the way most people think.
AI is great for research, generating ideas, and brainstorming different angles. But it's terrible at capturing your voice.

More and more people have outsourced so much of their writing to an AI tool that their content has become unremarkable, unnatural, and robotic.

Therefore, at the summit, I'll show you how to use AI as a tool without letting it turn your content into something that inspires nothing and has no taste.

"I'd rather not post on LinkedIn than post the same bull***t that everyone else does."

Me: Thanks for letting me know. I'm curious, though, you're not interested in the service, or it's just that our offer doesn't match your expectations?

Prospect: Yeah, the examples didn't really stand out as anything I could just write myself and the responses to them didn't seem to suggest there was much impact.

Me: If you take the posts one by one, yes, the impact is not huge. But when you post this type of content weekly, the impact compounds.
Yes, you can absolutely write this content yourself, and it would work great. The question is whether you have the time to do it.
Because writing one quality post takes 1-2 hours when you factor in structure, thinking, and writing. Multiply that by 8-10 posts per month, and you're looking at 15-20 hours of focused work.
And yes, you can use ChatGPT or other AI tools to speed up the process, but a founder in your position can't afford to publish generic content that sounds like 99% of what's published on LinkedIn.

As for the "didn't really stand out as anything" part, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Those posts have hundreds of likes and tens of thousands of views from the right audience. There you have the founders sharing their knowledge. It's not flashy. It's simple and straight to the point. That's exactly what people are resonating with on LinkedIn.

This is a real email conversation I had with a prospect.
This is the day-to-day reality of running an agency. Not everyone we discuss with becomes our client. 

We know we're not the right fit for everyone. But we want to make sure that after you discuss with us, you have a clear view of what it actually takes to write good content.

It takes time. A lot of time and mental space.

TomTom

As Country Manager in Austria and Switzerland, I was responsible for revising the retail, distribution and field account manager setup. In this context, I succeeded in optimising the digital transformation of the business in both countries and re-establishing TomTom as a premium brand, resulting in significantly increased profitability. I developed Go to market strategies tailormade on the respective market. My responsibility is to set-up, optimize and successfully implement online- & offline campaigns.

My negotiating skills also helped me to renegotiate existing agreements profitably. I was able to close old business lines without any open obligations and to expand the business in a meaningful way through focused acquisition of new customers. 

I managed to maintain and even expand market shares despite a tougher competitive environment and to profitably restructure the distribution model. In Austria, I also had management responsibility for two sales representatives and inspire them to the mission and vision of TomTom in a set-up I had built up.

Country Manager CH AT

As Senior Account Manager in Germany, I was responsible for Media Markt, Saturn (national and international) and the Metro Group (Metro, Real) as well as for the leadership of a field sales team with up to 14 employees. 

Over the time, I have successfully restructured this team and adjusted it to the budget in a reasonable way. Through my negotiating skills and closing power, coupled with a strong hands-on mentality, I have not only managed to gain up to 8% market share in a declining market, but also successfully renegotiated national and international agreements with my clients to increase profitability with them. 

Furthermore, I used my creativity not only to design attractive IFA offers to secure about 80% of the Q4 turnover, but also to grow and develop the customers through all levels and to regularly win new clients in search of new business opportunities. I also took the lead in reorganising the distribution model.

As Key Account Manager, I was responsible for re-establishing a trusting relationship with customers in order to increase sell-out and profitability accordingly. I also managed to establish new strategically important lines of business with existing clients and achieve significant growth in both revenue and sales as well as profitability. 

I created strategic business and budget plans and was in control of the budgets at all times. In addition, I ensured growth for my division in close collaboration with the respective marketing, finance and logistics departments. For the field sales team, which I played a leading role in restructuring, I had the technical leadership skills within my area.

As Account Manager, I was responsible for building the Canon printer business from scratch. Over the years, I was able to ensure continuous growth and increase profitability with my customers in the photo product category by focusing on profitable products, which resulted in increased margins. 

In the region, I also held the leadership role for the field sales team and was responsible for coordinating all activities and ensuring the success of the region.

In my field of work in internal sales, I was responsible for preparing sales evaluations and analyses as well as monitoring compliance with budgets at customer level. I calculated and paid out customer-specific conditions and actively supported the field sales force and key account management in customer management. 

My position required very close coordination with Marketing, Sales as well as Finance in order to be able to contribute to the implementation of the corporate strategy. For this purpose, I regularly prepared presentations and held them in front of all employees. 

Furthermore, I was involved in various internal projects, both nationally and internationally.

As a Junior Category Manager, I was responsible for the import of non-food articles with subsequent promotional marketing. I was able to constantly improve my negotiating skills and my closing power when conducting contract and condition negotiations as well as negotiating offers.
