I’m a former D1 athlete. GO BEARCATS. I live in the Miami, FL with my badass wife, Ari, who is arguably a way better marketer than I am. You can say we are a marketing power couple. 

I’ve spent most of my marketing career focused on Marketing Operations (at companies like SnackNation, Oracle, ChowNow, ServiceTitan, and Clearbit). BUT, I have a love for all types of marketing because to be great at Marketing Ops - you need to be well versed in all of marketing. Founder 

Diona

Company: ✒Diona Pty Ltd was a loss-making entity within a group of three distinct businesses owned by Calibre Group. This forced Calibre to sell out of BuiltE Environment (Professional Services) business to EGIS Group in Jun 2022. Between June 2022 and Nov 2022, I worked intensely with NAB appointed liquidators from Korda Mentha. However, the report issued by Korda Mentha and subsequent failure to secure refinance forced Calibre to privately sell out QuadR by Dec 2022. Calibre was unable to secure buyers for loss making Diona and was forced to undertake aggressive business reengineering strategy. The strategy saw a part of 220 employees bucketed into distinct lists: termination, demobilization, redundancy. Diona was finally sold to SRD in Sep 2024

Profile: ✒In Oct 2021 I stepped into Diona Pty Ltd to fill in for a CFO who went on extended stress leave. My tenure saw turbulent times in prepping Diona for "either or" positions alternating between insolvency to fire sale. I concluded my tenure with an Application to Fair Work. My application was settled by off-court settlement offer. In considering my options factors such as Diona's financial viability to get to trial some months ahead and incurring legal costs to fight an entity forgone to potential insolvency played a significant role.  I thus entered a Deed of Release with Diona Pty Ltd on the 11th of April 2024. 
I further secured pre-trial settlement with Diona Pty Ltd accepting liability for and compensating me for sustaining medical damages through the course of my employment. The Claim was settled on the 17th of September 2024 minutes prior to kicking off the formal arbitration with the Personal Injury Commission.

Company: ✒Diona Pty Ltd is an innovative engineering and construction business [formerly wholly owned subsidiary of Calibre Group] that has been delivering utility infrastructure projects since 1980 across multiple markets such as gas, power, water, rail, roads, and renewables. Diona's services include program management, design and construct solutions, comprehensive plant and labour hire, testing and commissioning, etc. Diona's client list includes enviable names such as Sydney Rails[NSW]

Profile: ✒As a high-profile leadership team member, I partner directly with the Founders, the CEO, and the Board to serve as a conduit for key decision-making and advisor to the business. My mandate was to drive the finance function to deliver all internal and external financial reporting obligations. My role required me to remain all-inclusive in my endeavors with a strong focus on 360C management of resources to ensure the success of my team while pursuing the evolving broader agenda adopted by the business.

Excelsior Capital Limited is into Manufacture and distribution of electrical cables and associated components for industrial, mining, infrastructure, commercial, petrochemical and information technology applications throughout South East Asia and Oceania; and Management of a substantial investment portfolio.

Portfolio: ✒As a CFO and Company Secretary of Excelsior Capital, I managed a diversified group of entities comprising a portfolio that focused on seeking continued growth strategies, exploring and evaluating investment opportunities, managing investor relations, broking, and managing deals from M&A to integration points as both as an acquirer and (or) divestor. Strong focus on capital and risk management while supporting a full suite of ASX reporting across existing listed entities

Portfolio: ✒As a  commercially focused CFO with a passion for building relationships, inspiring and developing people, and driving strategic outcomes my accountabilities encompassed financial and treasury matters within specific regions and entities, including protecting groups' assets and supporting corporate goals. I worked closely with the Founders and the Board. My remit was delivering efficiencies and scale while leading the Finance, IT, Risk, and Compliance functions spanning three states and three organizations. Portfolio: ✒I had full ownership of financial reporting and analysis for Allnex Corporate - ANZ Region. The regional portfolio includes six entities located in Australia and New Zealand turning over $150m annually. I provided strategic oversight of all financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities as well as providing commercial insight to the business in a post-acquisition climate. Allnex (a global company) acquired Nuplex (an entity corporated in ANZ Region)

Transfield Servies is a global business with a presence in all four continents delivering design, installation, (de)commissioning, and maintenance of rail systems, gas pipelines, communication towers, and other infrastructure as well as being engaged in building and construction services.

Portfolio: ✒I chaired balance sheet review meetings for 220 contracts ranging from construction to defence, logistics, immigration, infrastructure and asset operations, and facility management services. My brief was to streamline project reporting by establishing robust internal controls and standardizing the presentation and preparation of financial statements, specifically the statement of the financial position of individual projects

My role encompassed full spectre performance and compliance accounting and reporting. My role also extended into various facets of dashboard planning, estimating, design, construction, sales, and full R2R for after-sales services. I was supported by a large team of qualified accountants located in four major cities. One of the largest and most successful projects delivered through my tenure was Discovery Point, Wolly Creek

Portfolio: ✒I managed 3.4b dollar capex & propex intended to facilitate the rollout of fibre in existing and new residential housing across Australia. With over 1,500 projects running concurrently at any point in time, my role was focused on the high-volume demand-driven deployment of fibre in greenfields ie no pre-existing Telstra footprint.  I was responsible for the timely reporting of the construction and delivery of all greenfields fibre rollout projects. I was privileged to contribute to delivering high-quality broadband connection services to Australian residential customers faster than previously conceived possible.
