I’m a former D1 athlete. GO BEARCATS. I live in the Miami, FL with my badass wife, Ari, who is arguably a way better marketer than I am. You can say we are a marketing power couple. 

I’ve spent most of my marketing career focused on Marketing Operations (at companies like SnackNation, Oracle, ChowNow, ServiceTitan, and Clearbit). BUT, I have a love for all types of marketing because to be great at Marketing Ops - you need to be well versed in all of marketing. I started The Marketing Millennials as a way to meet other marketers - and I can officially say mission accomplished.

His marketing agency was telling him that he was getting 200 leads per month. But that didn’t seem true. 

Google Ads showed it and he was starting to think he wasn’t that bright. Where were the leads?

We got on a call and I showed him that the criteria for a “conversion” is 30 seconds of listening to a recording. And STARTING to fill out a form. 

The criteria should have been submitting the form. 

In reality, he had 40 leads per month. 

Proper tracking in your CRM would show you how much is real. 

On the call, he turned into a different person and relaxed. I sensed that someone had finally heard him and showed him he wasn’t crazy.
