Vibe coding is great but please remember - if you are vibe coding a website you aren't nessescarily building a website - you are building a "web app" otherwise known as an SPA  (single page application).

SPA's (single page applications) work using content injection.

When you interact - the content isn't part of the origin page DOM, it's dynamically injected into the template - this is why search engines like Google ABSOLUTELY struggle with it and as for LLMs, well, they won't be able to get any of the output.

IN SPA'S the content does NOT exist within the page - and quite often, in-page elements dynamically load content on interaction i.e. navigation etc - this is another reason why search engines like Google struggle with them.

GOOGLE CAN CRAWL + RENDER JAVASCRIPT.

But, it's not overly efficient at it and, even JS based websites that aren't SPA's are better than SPA's.

Most VIBE CODING tools like lovable build web applications in VITE/React in a single page application format.

SO, if you are "vibe coding" your way into a new website - you need to be aware that:

1. SPA's are truly awful for SEO 

2. You WILL need something like pre-render or cloudflare workers

3. EVEN then - search engines are likely to struggle especially if any of the in-page elements use Javascript to dynamically load content after an interaction and not as part of the original dom output

4. LLMS won't be able to extract content from your pages if they are SPA format

5. LLMS will struggle even with pre-render unless done/configured properly

It's NEVER been easier to create amazing looking websites that also function as applications, but, I can tell you now - a LOT of them come at a price and that's ...............
