Griffith University Postgraduate Students Association (GUPSA)

I was elected to the Board of the Griffith University Post Graduate Students Association (GUPSA) in late 2021 as Coursework Officer to represent my fellow post graduate students undertaking their study via coursework.

In late 2022 I was re-elected for a second term as Coursework Officer, and will continue to work hard to advocate for the needs of my peers completing their postgraduate studies via coursework.

The Coursework Officer role holds joint responsibility as co-chair of the board alongside the Research Officer and Online Officer roles. These three roles represent the entire postgraduate body of students within Griffith University.

Completing my MBA studies in October of 2023, I am no longer eligible to seek re-election to the Board, so as of November 2023 I am handing over the Coursework Officer role to the new candidate to take forward the initiatives and support Griffith postgraduate students on their educational journey.

HeliMods is a unique capability within the Australian and global aviation, defence & aerospace market. HeliMods delights its customers with a well established, best of breed, industry 4.0 technology base that is used to design, manufacture and deliver highly innovative solutions in the aerospace domain.

As Head of Emerging Programs & AIC, I was responsible to leverage the existing and emerging HeliMods capabilities within the emerging customer domain of defence. I focused on establishing and nurturing relationships with defence and defence primes then clearly articulating the value proposition that HeliMods can bring to larger defence acquisition and sustainment programs. 

HeliMods punches significantly above its weight due to the substantial investments in people and technology that have been made over 20+ years.

I led the APAC regional team to ensure our Defence and Security customers always receive the highest quality post sales service and product support to enable the highest level of training to be delivered.
I provided functional management of the APAC Maintenance organisation, including compliance and governance leadership.

I led the program to support training on the AW139 Full Flight Simulator at the ACE training centre in Bankstown, NSW in support of the New South Wales Ambulance Service.
I led the Australian contingent of the team supporting the MH-60R suite of training devices on site at HMAS Albatross in support of the Royal Australian Navy.

Manager, Customer Services, APAC

I led the customer service team in the delivery of post-sales product support and was responsible for maintenance regulatory compliance and governance across Australia and New Zealand within the Defence & Security business unit.

I led an initiative to completion in an overhaul of the Maintenance Management System (a subset of the Quality Management System) including policy, process, procedure, and standardisations thereof. The overhaul also included skills and training management of the maintainer cohort to ensure repeatable, high-quality outcomes.
