When you enter into a relationship, you must be willing to be vulnerable, share, and be open if you want to grow together. ♡

Why would it be any different when you're working relationship to where you dedicate most of your day, your creativity, your energy, and your expertise? 

When you start sharing there will be a response.

Often we focus on the negative: 
I'm embarrassed. 
They won't like it. 
They'll say something bad. 
How will this reflect on me?

👉 By sharing you ARE making a statement. 

It does reflect something about who you are, how you think, how you work, your opinion, and what well, makes you, you. 

So when you show up and hit publish:

🔹 You demonstrate your confidence. 
🔹 You inspire others to also start sharing. 
🔹 You create a space for people to connect with you. 
🔹 You open the door of opportunity to come knocking.

People are watching. 

That's scary. 

But when there's nothing there, it's difficult to form an opinion.

Let them form an opinion and then decide. 

We can't be for everyone and that's good news!

The hesitancy of sharing on LinkedIn is often rooted more in the fear of being seen then not knowing what to say. 

There are a lot of reasons (excuses) why to not post. 

- Not the right time. 
- Waiting until X moment. 
- No need to share publicly.
- Someone else says it better. 
- Don't have something of value to share. 
- No one cares what I have to say about this topic. 

But LinkedIn offers an opportunity for people to get to know you. 

To see HOW you think. 
See a part of your story. 
To hear your unique voice. 

It's an opportunity to surprise, impress, influence, and impact. 

Your online presence doesn't replace your in person power, energy, and presence. 

But does create a gateway to conversation and to new opportunities that go well beyond this feed.
