We all want more, don’t we?
More life. Longer life.
A life that feels full, rich, meaningful.
And yet we want it now,
don't really want to graft for it.
We want it faster. Quicker.
Instant answers, instant knowledge, instant results.
Instant wisdom, Mmm.

Technology moves at the speed of thought,
and we chase it, thinking
if we just keep up,
we’ll finally catch the life we’re searching for.

But inside us, it’s different.
We need pause.
We need quiet.
We need moments to breathe,
to recover,
to remember who we are
beneath all the noise and the hurry.
We can wait for the wave and
flow with it.

But the more we run, faster, harder, further
the more those moments slip through our fingers,
like the things we try to cling to. Desperate
without realising it.

It’s a living paradox lingering in our being.

We hunger for more life,
yet we steal from ourselves
the very thing that makes life feel alive.
We are dying for more life
while forgetting to live the life we already have.

Right here. Right now.
Maybe that’s the lesson:
it isn’t about speeding up.
It isn’t about getting more.
It’s about noticing.
