His extensive background includes front-line sales in a highly saturated, high competition industry through successfully leading a multi-state sales operation for a Fortune 200 company. Throughout his career, Dale has earned distinguished awards and recognition for his efforts on both a local and national level.

Overall responsibilities included prospecting new clients, assisting in transition of new clients to Canon technology, customer service for growing base of clients, and assisting sales team in large implementation schedules. Hawaii assignment was 100% competitive, with no starting base of clients.

Also assisted with ongoing training, development, and coaching of new reps. Performed sales rep candidate ride days during interview processes.

Dale Yasunaga

My career has been built on one fundamental belief; We treat people, whether they are our customers or employees, as they should be treated. Humans with emotions, their own experiences (informing their world view) and with innate value. 

As the author of Stay Relevant to Stay Profitable, published by World Scientific, I tackle the complexities of service and digital transformation. The book provides practical strategies that help organizations thrive in a rapidly changing world.

In 2023, I founded ConsciousService, a consulting and training company. I work with organizations to design customer experience and nurture a culture that drives both employee and customer satisfaction. Service excellence isn’t just about surface-level strategies. It’s about fostering the right mindset, well-being, and culture to sustain long-term performance.

Through my career, I’ve led several transformative projects. As Executive Director at SMU, I spearheaded the Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore, one of the country’s largest consumer research projects, tracking customer experiences across sectors like tourism, finance, retail, F&B, telco, healthcare, and transport. 

I also helped develop the SME Consumer Analytics Platform, providing SMEs with valuable customer satisfaction and consumer insights through an easy-to-use dashboard. 

To professionalize service careers, I developed a suite of 18 training programs and certifications such as consumer psychology and CX design.

As Assistant Chief Executive at the Singapore Tourism Board, I drove efforts to improve service excellence, productivity, and innovation, strengthening Singapore’s position as a global business and MICE, medical tourism and cruise hub.

I hold a law degree from the National University of Singapore and the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. I am certified in Design Thinking facilitation, Organisational facilitation, DISC conflict resolution, and neuro-based leadership. 

Over the years, I’ve served on several advisory boards, including the Client Advisory Council for Marina Bay Sands, and advisory boards for Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic. These experiences have reinforced my belief that the most successful organizations are those that embrace change, invest in their people, and continuously evolve.
