I work at the intersection of civil infrastructure, technology, and market design.

For more than two decades, I’ve operated inside wastewater, stormwater, and utility systems not just deploying solutions, but watching closely how ideas succeed, stall, or fail once they hit real-world constraints like procurement, incentives, operations, and culture.

Across my career, a consistent pattern has emerged: most infrastructure problems are not technical. They are problems of value distribution, access, and misaligned incentives. Technology only works when those issues are addressed first.

I’ve been early to multiple shifts in the industry from bioremediation and acoustic monitoring to sensor-based I&I detection, data-driven triage, and alternative procurement models. In some cases, the market caught up later. In others, the timing taught me as much as the outcome.

I co-founded RMS Utility Services, where we combined inspection data, monitoring technologies, and prioritization frameworks to help utilities pinpoint infiltration and inflow and target repairs more effectively. RMS was acquired in 2020.

In 2021, I cofounded Bidcurement a project acquisition and bidding platform to rethink how infrastructure work is sourced and visualized. While it didn’t reach its intended scale, it significantly deepened my experience in software architecture, procurement workflows, and why legacy models resist change.

Over the past year, I’ve focused heavily on learning how ideas actually move through this industry. Using content and community as a testing ground, I built and activated a senior-level civil engineering audience reaching millions organically validating pain points around burnout, compensation, procurement, and value capture, and converting attention into action quickly and without gatekeepers.

That work clarified my role:

I’m not a traditional vendor, consultant, or evangelist.
I operate as a system-level thinker and builder identifying structural friction, pressure-testing new models in public, and helping design platforms and partnerships that align incentives before scaling solutions.

Today, my work centers on:
•	infrastructure platforms and marketplaces
•	procurement and access reform
•	monitoring and decision-support models
•	and helping organizations see where value is leaking and how to redesign for sustainability
