"AI Slop" was the 2025 Word of the Year; it basically means low-quality, mass-produced crap video. 


If you're unsure, have you seen a video or short that seemed low-effort or thoughtless?

Some of you may assume that using AI video tools makes you seem low-effort and thoughtless as well.

My personal belief is that faceless videos that educate, inform, and are thoughtful and helpful to your target audiences are not and cannot be categorized as “AI Slop."

Just using #aivideo doesn't automatically mean your stuff is "slop." 

There's a huge difference. 

Slop is created to get clicks and views.

It's spammy, messy, and doesn't care about quality. 

Creating quality faceless videos is different. 

It's all about teaching and informing your audience. 

It's a lifesaver for experts who know their stuff but hate being on camera. 

#facelessvideos are a great way to start if you're camera-shy. 

The secret sauce is YOU🫵🏾. 

You have to put human qualities before speed. 

Don't just type in a basic prompt and hit go. 

You need to add your own expertise to the whole process.

Let’s be honest: owning the tools doesn’t mean you’ll use them.

My client, Lotis Johnson, CPA, is a brilliant CPA specializing in auditing for non-profits and sorority chapters. She knew she needed video to build trust for her upcoming geo-targeted ad campaign for the Delta Sigma Theta conferences.
