Working across all Federal accounts and capabilities at AFS’ San Antonio location, promote awareness and adoption of Lean-Agile values, principles, processes and technical practices. Consult with clients and account teams on effective patterns for transformation and high-quality delivery. Provide thought leadership to enable accounts to grow their Lean-Agile practice. Provide sales and BD support at the account, sector and portfolio level. 

Primary focus falls into four key areas:

Delivery Support - Jumpstart new Agile projects by helping client teams understand Agile, onboard key roles, execute Sprint Zero. Work closely with project leadership to assess organizational impediments, measure flow and develop strategies for continuously improving. 

Thought Leadership - Collaborate with the AFS Agile Institute, Accenture LLP,  and the industry as a whole to promote local adoption of our corporate capabilities, and industry best practices. 

Education - Provide classroom training to project teams and clients in our ICAgile accredited courses and the Scaled Agile (SAFe) curriculum. 

Sales Enablement - Play an active role in supporting business development and proposal efforts for Agile opportunities across all accounts.

As a servant-leader, coach the global solutions engineering teams (currently 11 agile teams) to manage the life cycle of critical corporate-wide and customer-specific technology based products primarily using Lean and Agile SDLC practices – Scrum, KanBan, XP, ScrumBan, SAFe.

Direct technology delivery focused on enterprise services (Service Oriented Architecture and the Enterprise Service Bus)  enterprise information management (the Enterprise Data Warehouse) and enterprise database management (MSSQL DBMS).
Direct enterprise information management solutions, division staff and resources. 
Direct solutions delivery, process and policy assurance, budgeting and financial management, resource planning, management reporting and the attainment of cross-organizational objectives and service levels. Collaborate with IT management teams, key decision-makers and global stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective, strategically - aligned enterprise data management solutions for all aspects of the global organization.
As Strategic Business Partner, and Agile Coach, participate in the development and execution of strategies to drive agile adoption throughout the organization. Examples include defining an Agile maturity model, establishing best practices, teaching Agile related classes and guiding the Managing Directors, Product Managers and project leads in the establishment of Agile practices.

Is it ethical to use an #LLM to write your LinkedIn post and not mention its role?

Do you use LLMs to write for you?

Do they suck?

I have never used an LLM to help me write a post on LinkedIn in any capacity whatsoever.  Not coming up with ideas.  Not helping me edit or refine it.  Not coming up with a schedule.  Nothing.

There's a few reasons for this:

One is, I like writing and think I'm ok at it.  This is not a skill I want to atrophy.  Even though an LLM technically could write a lot of the post for me, I don't want to cede the skillset over to it.

(Incidentally, I think AI generated writing usually is mid at best.  It's abstract, predictable, boring, and just kind of sucks.  I'd much rather read bad human writing than the milquetoast corporate-speak that comes out of LLMs talking about synergy and leadership colliding or whatever.)

Two is, as more AI generated material shows up, I think people crave posts that sound like a human being.  Spelling and grammar errors included.  I've noticed my impression numbers going up the past few months, and I'm not doing anything different.

Three is, I think it's unethical to present someone else's material as your own without crediting them.  This is true for me whether it's an #AI or a human behind it.

On that last bit, you might be thinking that there are some significant grey areas when it comes to LLMs.

For example, we don't usually give credit to spell checkers or proofreaders, and that's because the content is largely our own.  The tools are helping to polish it up.

With LLMs, you can have this weird liminal area.

For instance, you might write an outline of a post and generate the post with an LLM.

The thoughts, structure, and arguments are yours, but they are expressed in something else's words.  Imagine doing this activity with human being for instance.  Would you credit them?

Personally, I just don't want to mess with that.  I don't want to give any false impressions of my own thoughts and abilities, nor do I want to claim another's efforts as my own in any respect.
