Working across all Federal accounts and capabilities at AFS’ San Antonio location, promote awareness and adoption of Lean-Agile values, principles, processes and technical practices. As a Sr (Technical) Product Manager / Product Owner: I was responsible for leading a team of developers in the creation and management of the T-Mobile Flagship app, including defining product vision and strategy, developing roadmaps, prioritizing features, and coordinating with stakeholders and senior leadership. This included day-to-day management, writing capabilities, specifications and stories as required for the ongoing maintenance and NPI development through UAT and into production deployment.  A summary: 

-	Development and release of a Flagship component to allow users to provision and, or swap physical SIM’s (pSIM’s) and the new electronic SIM’s (eSIM’s) without the need to visit a TMO store. Targeted and delivered in in time for the Apple iPhone 14 NPI event to streamline the customer purchase and, or upgrade experience.

-	NPI initiative to allow users to perform their own device troubleshooting to identify defects and, or to provide advance information to Customer Care

-	Proof Of Concept for the new Payment system using an internal App development tool. This was taken from concept through to SLT demonstration. Successfully tested the proof of concept with multiple users, gathering feedback and iterating on the design to improve usability.

-	Experience working with accessibility standards in the mobile phone industry, including WCAG 2.0, Section 508, and ISO/IEC 9241-171. Accessibility verification and deployments in the Flagship App and all new product deployments to ensure that all aspects of the Flagship App and NPI’s complied with Accessibility requirements.

Responsible for all aspects of the Inspection App and main components of the “Sherlock” Aerial Inspection (AI/ML) system used for the inspection of Electrical Transmission lines to prevent wildfires caused by electrical equipment failure:
	Product Planning through extensive interaction with senior stakeholders and end users to ensure product delivery met expectations.
	Creation, Design and implementation of the entire QA/UAT process 
	Defect tracking, correction and production release planning and execution
	Use of Agile (Jira and Jira Align) to manage Roadmaps, Product Initiatives, Product releases, Sprint planning and backlog.
	Directly involved with the design from Inception down to story level.

	Agile Velocity estimation maps using Monte Carlo and Bayesian simulations allowing “what-if” analysis leading to a more accurate view of team velocity
	Automatic categorization of aerial images to the correct equipment/structure, “defect mapping” to detect trends across multiple structures in a transmission line enabling greater inspection accuracy and efficiency
	Designed and coded the software to perform data recovery from the individual files representing several years of inspections after the original database content was lost. 
	Design and code of the Reports and Monitoring system for the entire product range with complete CPUC compliance

Responsible for the design and introduction of the following KPI’s:
	Software to determine the perimeter around the structure as described by the received flight images. This allowed the “closest” images to be automatically determined while allowing subsequent images to be automatically assigned based on perimeter proximity. This solved a huge issue relating to flight images.

NC-Labs

Founded a company specializing in Network Computer applications and consultancy, mostly around Linux based hardware. Clients included EMC, Nokia, Qualcomm, Kingsley Tech and others.

Designed and developed a port of RPC to Java which was sold as a commercial product. At the time RPC was (and still remains) an integral part of data communication between disparate systems from Cell Phones to Mainframes.

I started work in 1977 at IBM, England on the system that was the proof-of-concept of the IBM PC. 
Yes, this is where it all started. This project was a competition to “do something useful” with the very new microprocessors. Havant, England were assigned Intel, Motorola was assigned to Bordeaux in France and Rochester USA were given the Z8/80.  We won replacing a large Mini-computer with something the size of a 2 drawer filing cabinet. It really is One Heck Of A Story.
