I led and worked with a 15 diverse students from around the county and many students from around the world. I engineered the first election anyone could remember of Student Government members in 2 weeks as the Student Government President. I taught leadership that required elections 3 of the following 4 semesters and changed the retention rate in Student Government from almost zero beyond the Executive Board to most members in one semester.
I prepared and led meetings, prepared budgets, showed members how to prepare and present project proposals to Administration. 
I engaged with students and helped them find services and increase their perspective of self worth.

I was a voice for the students as a Student Government Senator for 2 semesters before becoming the Student Government President where I engineered several changes that lasted beyond my time.

I am a Developer driven by a deep calling to help individuals build their self-esteem. Having faced my own struggles with self-esteem, I have become a life experience expert in understanding how personal value is shaped. I believe that self-esteem reflects how we perceive our worth, often influenced by the interpretations and feedback we receive from others.

Throughout my life, I have gained a wealth of experience in various fast-paced and challenging environments. From growing up around livestock, machinery, and fire to working in fields like conservation, wildland fire management, and emergency response, I’ve developed a unique skill set. My career has included roles in ambulance and first responder situations, large machinery operation, construction, equipment troubleshooting and repair, and building system evaluation.

Despite the technical challenges I’ve faced, I’ve found that communication is often the most difficult yet crucial aspect of my work. Through my journey, I’ve discovered that active listening is one of the most powerful tools for helping others recognize their value. By truly hearing people, I can help them see themselves more clearly and, in turn, boost their self-esteem.

People inherently know why they are special, but they often struggle to see the value in who they are. I help them by identifying and reflecting back some of the special traits they reveal to me.

I teach Psychology classes at the University of Phoenix in California's Central Valley. I have over 20 years of clinical experience treating individuals and their families with mental Illness and substance abuse. I spend my leisure time enjoying backyard barbecues, and following sports. I enjoy coaching others, love walks to the park with our dogs, taking pictures of nature and landscapes, and driving up to our rustic and remote family Cabin in the Sequoia National Forest. There I disengage - no Wifi, internet, cell service, radio or TV. Just tall evergreens and a year round stream! Ahhh...

When our public schools were closed due to  COVID-19, I connected exclusively on LinkedIn with wonderful, kind, and positive people from many countries all around our beautiful Earth. I have pivoted and begun Coaching and Educating Adult Entrepreneurs. This fulfills my extroverted, leadership desires, and friendly personality.
