I was nominated for the Accenture Partnership for the 2001/2002 global promotion cycle.

I had the privilege of working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, collaborating and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions. ea Change Group was founded in 1998 to address issues surrounding euro integration but subsequently expanded into providing project and program management services. I reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for expanding the eBusiness practice.

It's that time again, everyone.  Happy Friday 😊

If you work with people (and let’s face it, we all do), this one’s a must-read.

I’m currently deep into Surrounded by Idiots by Thomas Erikson and it’s one of those books that makes you laugh, wince, and nod in recognition, often all at the same time.

It’s a brilliant exploration of why we misread each other at work, why some conversations flow and others crash, and how small shifts in understanding can change everything about how we connect.

Erikson uses colour profiles (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue) to bring personality dynamics to life and the humour in it is gold. It’s not about labelling people, it’s about learning to listen, adapt, and stop assuming everyone thinks like we do.

What I love most is how it makes you laugh at yourself first. It’s a reminder that real leadership isn’t about managing others, it’s about understanding them.

If you get the chance, pick this one up. It’s fun, sharp, and surprisingly humbling.

Hello there; you seem to have stumbled across my LinkedIn Profile. You're probably here to learn a little bit more about me, and you've come to the right place! The first thing you should know is that I'm all about writing. Ever since my early high school years, all I wanted to do was make a living using all of those fancy words I learned from the works of Hunter S. Thompson and Stephen King, and thankfully, that's what I do these days.

Having this vision in mind made it easy to choose what I wanted to study by the time I got to university, and three years later, I had a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Communication under my belt. This helped me land a three-week internship as a journalist/copywriter at my local newspaper, the Zululand Observer. 

I was utterly starstruck by this offer and wrote like my life depended on it. So it didn't take long for the Editor-in-Chief to take notice of my passion for the craft and offer me a full-time position. For the next year, I spent the majority of my time learning. I learned how to interview and speak to people from all walks of life, research and write about almost anything, and create powerful stories using what I had at my disposal.

While I might not be a journalist anymore, these skills have proven incredibly useful during my content/copywriting journey. My interview skills have helped me to identify pain points and understand what clients really want, my research skills have helped me sound like an expert on a topic I just learned about that day, and learning how to create powerful stories taught me how to market just about anything.

Although I've come a long way since I began my writing career, I feel like I'm just getting started as I still have so much to learn, which is why I decided to join Flance Directive Creators as a Content Creator. Here, I get to both learn from and write for the head honchos of some of the biggest brands around, which is pretty much a dream come true for me.
