-	Leading 5 Live Breakfast’s 2019 Election coverage, including creating record levels of engagement with the 5 Live Leader Your Calls, broadcast simultaneously on the BBC News Channel (the leaders of the main political parties taking listeners’ questions). Demonstrating an ability to lead high-profile projects with multiple stakeholders.

STRATEGIC HIGHLIGHTS:
-	Leading a 5 live strategy to improve our reach to younger audiences. Collaborating with multiple stake-holders and creating a blueprint that has had a real impact: 25-44 measure up on Rajars Q4 2019, significantly more live listening through BBC Sounds for U35s (Q3 vs Q4 2019)
-	Leading the BBC's 50:50 project to encourage greater diversity of voices on-air.
-	Currently leading on a project to develop a unique strategy to increase live listening through BBC Sounds (Q1 2020). Working across the BBC Radio division, engaging and managing multiple stakeholders. Demonstrating an ability to identify problems across the division and bring a team together to tackle them.

I’m Cosmo Shield, founder of humanworks. Before you ask, yes, that’s my real name! I was a BBC journalist for almost two decades before I realised I was sick of telling people bad news every day and wanted to help a generation of businesses tell their stories in a more compelling way.

Juliet Shield has had over 30 years' experience of building  restaurants and sandwich cafe businesses, in Liverpool and Manchester and selling them on. For 10 years her company operated a cafe in the Tate Gallery in Liverpool and she well understands the relationship between a gallery or museum and its ancillary cafe. She has advised on both sides. She has also helped commercial companies establish catering facilities within their buildings, from selecting the operator via a tender process, to improving existing facilities.

Since selling Mangetout in 2007, Juliet has focused on building up a

About me:

I know about restaurant stress from the inside: the good parts that are temporarily performance enhancing, and the many less good which wear you down and can sometimes lead to depression

After my Psychology degree, I decided instead to make a career from my passion for food, and opened a small cafe selling home-cooked food where there was no compromise on the quality of ingredients. For 30 years I built up successful restaurants and a cafe chain with the same ethos.

After selling the company in 2007, I became a restaurant consultant in London, where I helped restaurant owners bring their dreams to reality, and to keep many afloat financially. From time to time I found myself as a confidante for restaurant owners who were experiencing stress.

This softer side of my restaurant advisory work caused me to rethink what I really wanted to do in my working life. I had been a Hypnotherapy client, and knew how incredibly effective this was, particularly the solution-focused method, in reducing anxiety. 

Since achieving a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, I have discovered the pure joy of helping clients transform their lives. The process is a partnership, and probably the most important factor is the synergy between me, the therapist and you, the client. 

I have recently started working with doctors. The stress they have experienced through these last years of the pandemic has taken its toll enormously.
Many struggle with the system in which they work. 

I am passionate about helping them. These wonderful people did not go through years of training and exams to become invisible providers and administrators. Which it what they are in danger of becoming.

I regard my function as that of enabler and I’m there primarily to cheer you on, using the powerful techniques of both talking therapy and trance relaxation to help get you to a better place in your life, removing any blocks standing in the way of your path to success and happiness.
