What's one thing you're giving yourself 30 seconds of courage to do this year?

I didn't need more motivation.

I needed better systems.

Motivation fades.

I learned this the hard way when I opened Lure Agency over 13 years ago.

Early on, I'd get pumped after a conference or big win. 

Then life would hit, energy would drop, and momentum would stall.

The shift happened when I partnered with Susan Tucker and stopped relying on feeling inspired, and we started building repeatable processes.

Here's what changed:

→ Morning routines became non-negotiable, not mood-dependent.

→ Team meetings followed agendas, not vibes.

→ Client strategy calls are more strategic, less winging it.

•	Produced market intelligence reports. Built SWOT analyses of competitors’ financial reporting, online presence, and customer reviews as compared with company offerings. •	Planned and coordinated 20 company outings per year. Developed and delivered on events for up to 400, directing events for New York and Florida facilities.
•	Oversaw 150 onsite events per year held in 5 onsite meeting rooms. Managed room setup, catering, and AV.
•	Arranged incoming and outgoing travel for national and global executive travel. Booked all travel (air, hotel, and transportation) for executives and processed all expenses utilizing SAP Concur. Saved over $25,000 in fees by establishing SOP to book favorable hotel room rates and airfare.

For 5-star luxury hotel (287 rooms, $12M revenue), assisted with pre-opening in recruiting, brand management, onsite events, and vendor procurement. 
•	Played a key role in the opening of a luxury boutique hotel and condominium development  in Lower Manhattan. Worked alongside hotel developer, corporate executives, and restauranteurs Tom Colicchio, Keith McNally, and Serge Becker in pre- and post-opening operations.
•	Fielded all sponsorship requests on hotel’s behalf. Working alongside Managing Director and Director of Sales and Marketing, established best practices for donations of room stays and/or dining credits. Established format for tracking donations and incoming utilizations.
•	Assisted in brand marketing initiatives and special projects. Coordinated with advertising and marketing agencies on collaborative campaigns and provided site tours and event assistance to VIP partners.

InterContinental New York Times Square

Provided executive support to General Manager, Hotel Manager, and Director of Food & Beverage of 4-star, 600-room hotel featuring onsite restaurant run by Chef Todd English with an average annual occupancy of 93%.
•	Supported hotel leadership. Assisted with calendar management and expense reporting. Managed key initiatives for hospitality executives. Utilized Microsoft Office and Adobe software in addition to hotel-specific programs.
•	Complete management of monthly and quarterly meetings with Ownership. Reviewed and reported on key analytics, including P&L, market intelligence, and sales & marketing initiatives. Interfaced with department heads to craft accompanying agenda, presentation, and handouts for team. 
•	Acted as the voice of the hotel responding on Management’s behalf to all online reviews for hotel and onsite restaurant. Handled any complaints by investigating issues with appropriate departments and responding in a timely manner. Tracked hotel’s performance against that of comparable properties in the area.

Supported catering / convention services for 4-star hotel (500 rooms, 50K sq ft event space). Negotiated and managed all short-term meeting requests. Created and updated banquet event orders (BEOs) and meeting requests. Marketed business at industry trade shows to expand brand reach. Served as Marriott Certified Wedding planner.

Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets in the corporate market, including both group and individual travel. Market segments include Entertainment, Fashion, and Cosmetic industries.

Actively participated in the marketing and promotion of a boutique luxury hotel in Los Angeles.

Partnered with IMG and Mercedes Benz as the official hotel sponsor of Fashion Week.

•	Chicago, IL – supporting the openings of two luxury boutique hotels in the heart of the Loop District, and becoming the first US-based Hotel Sales Manager dedicated exclusively to the entertainment market outside of New York or Los Angeles
