To understand the movement of The Sales Rebellion, first you need to understand why I started it and the community it has evolved in to.

It all starts with my Dad, a sales pro for over 38 years. 

His legacy is one of integrity, perseverance, and service to others is unmatched by most people who have enjoyed working in our great profession.

In a nutshell: I spent my life in the shadow of one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth and his ability to sell also fueled his success in LIFE.

What it has to do with me?

I realized my initial calling in the technology world (selling copiers, managed IT and software) through his business and also just how much fun I could have being in a sales role.

You might have heard rumors of me... back when they called me, The Copier Warrior.

From 2007 until 2017 I worked for the same company - my Father's firm was acquired in 2012 and I stuck around until 2017, at which point I moved on from the company I had represented for my entire career in sales. 

I made this decision after my Dad’s passing (see my shared articles for the 'saddest story I have ever told' if you want to know more).

I stayed in the copier industry for 2 more years before launching my Rebellion.

Yes, that's right in 2019, The Sales Rebellion was born.

My conquest of changing the game has expanded beyond my role as an individual contributor and a VP of sales in the technology space. 

Now I am teaching the masses how to be more creative, build a lasting legacy, be a servant leader and achieve more in their sales career.

No longer will the mediocre rule throughout our profession. 

A Rebellion is rising up.

What a great start to the new year.

Tonight, I’m flying to Indianapolis to meet my two-week-old grandson and spend time cooking and playing with my three-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. 

No laptop. 
No quick check-ins. 

Just me, my family, and the moments that actually matter.

Because we don’t live to work — we work so we can live.

The deals, the calls, the inbox… they can wait. 
But memories like these? 
They don’t.

I’m grateful for my incredible team at RepMove who have my back while I step away to be fully present where it counts most.

Squats mean standing up from a chair without struggle.
Deadlifts mean lifting heavy objects off the ground safely.
Cardio means having the energy to keep up with your grandchildren—and your life.

𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱...𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆! I𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲.

Strength shows up in everyday moments:

-Carrying groceries

-Traveling confidently

-Getting off the floor

-Preserving balance and mobility

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

That said, exercise alone is not the full longevity equation.

True longevity comes from alignment:

-Consistent, intelligent training

-Nutrition that supports muscle, metabolism, and recovery

9-5, I work at 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲, partnering with 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 to implement systems, strategy, and execution that 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Separately, I work as a 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵, helping individuals in midlife build strength, improve health markers, and maintain independence through training, nutrition, and evidence-based therapies.

Forget sales training. Try baking with a toddler.

If you think you’re a strong negotiator, try it with a 3½-year-old and see how you do.

Lessons in Grandparenting & Sales from a weekend with my littles.

This weekend, my granddaughter and I made cookies. Somewhere between the flour explosion and the disappearing chocolate chips, I realized I wasn’t just baking—I was negotiating.

“Grandma, can I have a cookie before dinner?”
“No, sweetie, after dinner.”
Pause. “What if I just lick it?”

That’s creativity and persistence rolled into one.

Then came the closer:

“But Grandma, you love me.”

Deal closed. Emotional intelligence: flawless.

And of course, the follow-up.

After one cookie: “Maybe two next time?”

Pipeline secured.

By the end, the kitchen was a mess, the cookies were a third gone (I enjoyed a few too), and I was reminded that negotiation isn’t about being the toughest—it’s about connection, curiosity, and a little creativity.

Whether you’re closing a deal or baking cookies, the same principles apply.

What’s something unexpected that’s taught you a great sales or negotiation lesson?

Not a glamor shot, but the most beautiful picture I've ever taken.

24 years ago, today the best thing that has ever happened to me happened when my son Walker was born. 

I sit here in awe about how the last two decades have unfolded, personally, professionally. 

My heart is full of such joy and gratitude. 

I was a young 22-year-old single mom, and everything I've done since then has been because of him.

My son's arrival pushed me to go back to school, shaped my career journey, forced me to look at the World outside of me.

And now, I think about my grandchildren, the World we live in, and what I can do, little by little to make it a better place for them.

Children, whether your own or those of whom you love, are the future. 

The decisions you make matter for them. 

Be grateful for the journey. 
The beauty and the darkness. 

I'm not sure who I'd be today if my son hadn't come along, but I know one thing to be true, my love for him is powerful and he shaped me into who I am today. 

Happy Birthday Walker. I love you more than the sun, the moon, and the stars. I am so proud to be your mother.

Not my best sleep schedule, but sometimes you just power through.

This isn’t the healthiest option, and I know there will be haters, so go ahead and hate.

But it’s what I need in a pinch—my go-to Monster Energy, Ultra Vice Guava. A little extra boost to kickstart the day.

Between travel, fitness, and staying sharp for RepMove, structure is key… but caffeine helps too.

My agenda today: Kickass, accomplish the non-negotiables, and SLEEP like a QUEEN tonight.

High performers track the numbers that matter.

When energy drops:

focus suffers
stress tolerance shrinks

performance follows

And no amount of hustle fixes biology.

Energy is built — or depleted — by a few non-negotiables:

• 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 → supports metabolism, resilience, and cellular energy production
• 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → provides the raw materials your cells need to function
• 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 → where hormones regulate and systems repair
• 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → even mild dehydration impacts cognitive and physical performance
• 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → chronic stress quietly drains your energy reserves

For many professionals in midlife, even when these are “dialed in,” 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗴𝗲.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴...𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹.

That’s not me being dramatic — that’s the truth.
People who don’t work out are 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆.

Research from Penn State found that 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟰𝟲% 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 compared to those who don’t.

𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘆-𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁.
That’s not luck. That’s lifestyle.

And here’s why it matters:

After age 30, 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯–𝟴% 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲.
After 50, that loss speeds up.

I'll be 47 this year, and I'm not going down without a fight!

That loss of muscle is called 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮 — and it’s silently robbing you of strength, energy, and independence while you call it “aging.”

But it’s not aging — it’s disuse.
And you can 𝙖𝙗𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 fight it.

I’m a grandmother.
And I decided exactly how I want to age — strong, capable, and unafraid of stairs, grandkids, or the mirror.
That decision changed everything.

Because muscle isn’t about looking good.
It’s about living well.
It’s your metabolism, your stability, your vitality — your independence.

As a coach, this is what I work on with my clients:

* 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀. Resistance training is non-negotiable.
* 𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻. You can’t rebuild what you don’t feed.
* 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽. Your body can’t grow if it can’t recover.
* 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗹𝘆. For some, GLP-1 or peptide therapy can help — when used alongside training and nutrition, not instead of them.

This is your reminder:
𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 — 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.
