I utilize Somatic Experiencing (SE) as well as Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), both body-based methods to help clients who struggle with emotional regulation and shutting down under stress.   

Clients often come to see me because talk therapy hasn’t been sufficient for them. Both SE and SSP are gentle and effective, and allow for a deeper mind-body connection and nervous system regulation. The work I do with clients also often helps clients to gain resilience, confidence, and self-compassion.

I'm a Somatic Psychotherapist licensed in Florida and Illinois, specializing in anxiety, trauma, and stress recovery. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, burned out, and stuck—often after pushing through for too long or dealing with stressful life events.

Many of my clients have tried talk therapy and found it helpful, but still experience big reactions to stress, shutting down, or physical symptoms like pain and fatigue. They’re tired of feeling reactive and disconnected. Somatic therapy goes beyond talking to address how stress impacts both mind and body.
