In February 2022, I took a bold step and joined Euro Exim Bank as a Trade Finance Consultant, embracing the challenges of remote work with enthusiasm.

Embu Imagine having a consultant who seamlessly navigates the complexities of trade finance, from generating valuable leads in your region to building and nurturing strong client relationships. 

That's exactly what I set out to do. 

My role involved 

identifying lucrative opportunities, 

managing client interactions with care, 

and ensuring all compliance checks were met, 

including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), 

Know Your Customer (KYC), 

and Counter-Terrorism Finance (CTF) requirements.

Over just 10 months, I made a significant impact by leveraging LinkedIn to uncover and develop exciting opportunities. 

The results were impressive, showing that my approach not only met but exceeded expectations.

And the journey continues.

It was in January, 2013, the year that made me leave my system admin work, the work that made me sleep half-past-dead, and started to think of getting into internet world.

Particularly digital marketing

I was just doing fine on my System Admin Work, but my thirsty for digital marketing was a dope, 

Using internet to run businesses.

So, I decided to invest myself into it, 

Massively,

Social Media was My Major, if you know what I mean,

On that time School business was rising, and competition was high,
So, owners were struggling to survive,

To Me……. An opportunity.

I did my research, on different schools,
Shortlisted some, and approached the owners,

On 2015, I met the Owner of Joy land International School,


Back then, Joy land was a small school, but very determined, the environment that was exactly my type……I like new challenges.

I convinced him to let me try Digital Marketing.

He Agreed, we signed the contract.


It was early 2016,Facebook Ads were booming.

So 6 months after creating my first Marketing Campaign, We had more students than we could handle.

This was a clear sign that social media was not an option into business,

I was lucky to discover digital marketing, so I could try every strategy, you can imagine.

Some worked out, some didn’t, but the learning was incredible.

In 5 years, It went from a small school to a real Joy land International School:

▪️ Increasing the school's revenue OVER 50 TIMES.
▪️ Growing the school market presence across 15 REGIONS, operating only from Dar es salaam.
▪️ Influencing  my director to become Manager after LESS THAN 2 YEARS of working with me.

Joy land grew to become a great school,

A Very big school in deed,

After 5 years, there was no room left for me to progress further.

So I packed my bags and moved on.
