I've been skydiving (parachute rigger USMC) to the bottom of the ocean via SCUBA. I'm a Master Brewer. I try to play acoustic guitar (Martin 000-16GT). I've written code. I'm never alone - full of faith and spirit.

I'm a single dad of 3 daughters and a grandpa to a grandson.

There are only two kinds of "Not Interested" outcomes when cold calling.

Are there not?

1. Not Interested because you started a genuine two-way dialogue and got to the bottom of why there is No Interest. Both parties engaged in dialogue using their prefrontal cortex (slow, methodical thinking).

2. Not Interested because you failed to start a genuine two-way dialogue and ended up talking to their fight or flight responses, and never achieved a genuine discussion/outcome. Both parties are using their amygdalas to wrestle with the fight-or-flight response (fast, subconscious thinking).

We can't dispose of these calls the same, can we?

#1 is a legitimate "Not interested," which requires a sub-disposition for what to do next:

For example:

Not Interested: 90-day persistence 

#2 is more of a "Brush off."

For example:

Brush off: Failed to start a conversation 

There are a few additional "sub dispositions" that go with the main dispositions that can help you stay organized and use automation to:

1. Minimize your wrap time

2. Create a simple and effective follow-up strategy

3. Keep your CRM tidy and free from becoming a landfill for eroded contact data

In conclusion, it will always depend on what you sell, who you sell to, how much it costs, and the length of the sales cycle as to how elaborate your dispositions need to be, not to mention...

Less is always more.

So don't get carried away.

I had an incredible and eye-opening experience with Google Gemini AI last night.

Together, we spent about 2.5 hours tuning my living room audio experience.

I run the following components:

Outlaw Audio RR2150 Integrated Amp
AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 Cooling System
Monitor Audio Silver 300 6G Speakers
Monitor Audio FB-210 Subwoofer
BlueSOUND Node Wireless Streamer/DAC

My room is 16.5' x 14', and the ceilings are vaulted on the audio side (taller than behind me and my listening positions)

Sharing pictures of the rooms, plus dimensions and everything I could think of, we ended up with:

Left speaker 5" from the wall with a slight toe in

Right speaker 18" from the wall with a 30-degree toe-in (much more dramatic than the left channel)

Bass management on the RR2150 set to 60 Hz

The subwoofer phase around 75° to compensate for leak into my kitchen.

Subwoofer level at about 1/4 turn, or 9 o'clock on the dial. Extremely low but packing a chest pounding punch with crisp clarity.

Sounds like I'm at live concerts now.

Full soundstage, 3D+ imaging, and no mud between the Bass Guitar and Drums.

I am completely blown away by how well AI and I worked together to get to a complete solution.

I love these moments because they open my eyes to things I hadn't even imagined in terms of using AI.
