I'm Cole, an entrepreneur with a running addiction. 

I am a Co-Managing Partner at Zuvi Investments, a joint family office dedicated to helping small businesses transition into established middle-market companies. 

Previously, I was the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of GREEN CREATIVE, a commercial-grade LED lighting company. My partner and I bootstrapped the business to over $60m in annual sales, successfully exiting to a PE fund. Our journey is chronicled in our book, “Flipping The Switch” (available now).

I was also a co-founder of Hey Hero Labs, a platform for personalized video content creation. The company was acquired by Sanctuary Ventures in 2022.

Outside of business, I'm driven by my passion for running. Having recently turned 40, I've achieved personal bests that surpass my times from 20 years ago. I'm always experimenting with new techniques and training methods to optimize performance and longevity.

At Outcomes Fund I lead early stage venture capital for the single family office. We focus on non-lead checks in to early rounds of companies focused in deeply technical areas preferably with revenues over $500,000, and checks in to funds that have a proven track record to offer co-invest in their best deals upon their initial checks.

I also advise on later stage transactions, venture debt, and other related projects within our portfolio.

Started and led a team of 7 to build the world’s first software keyboard to drive clinically valuable insights for the care of mental health. While we never reached our goal of getting in to patient's hands I’m proud that our team developed HIPAA compliant autocorrect from scratch, successfully sold some of our key assets in order to return funds to investors. I’m most proud that the key members of my team, all early career professionals, ended up at well known unicorns or FANG.

I provided coverage of sporting events for America's largest sports specific image agency including baseball, football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and others competed at the amateur and professional levels.

Major events/sports covered include London 2012 Paralympic Games, NCAA Playoffs (multiple sports), MLB, NHL, NCAA Football, and more.

My work was published far and wide from USA Today, ESPN.com, Sports Illustrated magazine, and in newspapers and magazines worldwide.

Provided advice and assistance to premium air travelers to help them find the most comfortable and suitable itineraries for their trips. 
Created the groundbreaking Credit Card Consultation which helps clients earn significantly more miles than otherwise possible without any major changes in daily habits. Many Credit Card Consultation clients quadruple their mileage earning in the first six months.
In addition to founding the company I managed a team of consultants. 
Shrewd Travel was sold in 2015 to Budget Biz of Malaysia.

Worked in the capacity of intern for the Dimensional Fund Advisors, one of the largest privately held asset managers, with over $500B under management as of May 2017. Worked in the  Communication Group in Santa Monica, CA working as needed on a variety of projects including their Nobel Laureates series and presentation and document development.

Former professional traveler, founder of mental healthcare company Orana (once known as Stabilify), building awesome technology for collecting medically applicable data. I enjoy being challenged in multiple arenas and formerly worked as a professional sports photojournalist. 

Currently spending time supporting founders as an advisor and investing in late seed and bridge stage B2B companies.
