I failed on Friday.

I brought 28 coaches in person and 28 online to mastermind together for a full day overlooking the London skyline at One Hundred Shoreditch.

But my goal when I booked the venue back in November was 75 in person and 250 online.

I laugh at that now.

The delusion.
The audacity.

But this isn’t new.

I’ve got 300 hardbound journals sitting in a factory in Sussex somewhere. Back in 2022 I thought I’d sell 500 copies of Joel’s Journal.

I sold 200.

And that’s exactly the point.

It’s the delusion, the audacity, the swings that miss, that led me here.

Without the 200 journals I don’t find the 28 coaches.
Without the 28 I don’t find the 280.
Without the 280 I don’t find the 2,800.

That’s how this works.

The outcome was never the goal.

The game is the goal.
The process is the goal.
The person I become chasing the number is the goal.

And it’s because of that,
and only because of that,
that one day I’ll be filling rooms with hundreds.
Then thousands.

So yes. I failed on paper.

But those 56 coaches?

They were exactly who was meant to be in that room on Friday.

And I wouldn’t swap a single one of them for the 250 who didn’t show up.

Be delusional.
Be audacious.

That’s my invite.

If you have the freedom to have slow breakfast, lunch with loved ones and workout regularly…

You already have what you once wanted.

So…

Maybe time to enjoy it?

Most coaches post randomly and wonder why nobody buys.

Here are the 4 content pillars that actually move people from stranger to client…and the question each one answers in your audience’s mind before they invest:

1. Heart Content → “Do I like you?”

Build emotional resonance through character stories, a day in your life, and showing your work. People buy from people. Always.

2. Head Content → “Can you help me?”

Shift how people think with three formats:
— Reporter content (what you’re seeing in the market)
— Doctor content (diagnosing the symptoms your clients feel)
— Lawyer content (making the case for a new way)

When you can articulate someone’s problem better than they can, they automatically assume you have the solution.

3. Help Content → “Will it work for me?”

Testimonials, screenshots, case studies. Not just results, but results for people who look like them.

4. Hands Content → “What’s the next step?”

The plan, the logistics, the simple invite. Most coaches make this too complicated. Just tell people what to do next.

The mistake most coaches make? They only post one or two of these…. usually head content…. and wonder why people “love the content but never buy.”

Your audience needs all four questions answered.

That’s your whole content strategy right there.

Save this.

Come back to it when your content feels scattered.

Dad life.

Something I don’t talk about much here.

Words escape me for most of it, honestly…

But today I wanted to share the one thing that’s caught me completely off guard about being a dad.

The pain of loving someone this much.

The unavoidable worry that comes with caring for someone so deeply.

I’m a relaxed guy. Chill. Never really sweated the future.

And whilst I can always find my way back to trust…

It’s weekly work.

“What world are they growing into?”
“Will they have jobs?”
“What if I lose them?”
“What if I can’t provide for them?”
“What if…”
“What if…”

It brings me to tears. Often.

It literally hurts my heart how much I love them.

Then there’s the tension.

Wanting freedom… but knowing life without them wouldn’t carry the same weight.

Wanting time alone… but missing them the moment you have it.

F*ck me. What a whirlwind.

It’s the hardest and most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done.

Makes entrepreneurship look like child’s play.

And I’m so grateful to have my beautiful wife @marisaburgesscoach by my side through all of it.

🫶🏼My Mum - Eternally there for me, stoic, aggressively organised (see page long WhatsApp's), and an incredibly talented artist (she'll never admit it). I hope L*** inherits all of these wonderful traits.
 
🫶🏼My Grandma - 90+ years young, the strong matriarch of our family, and still able to beat the entire family at every quiz (thanks Covid-lockdown for these…). I hope and pray for your zest for life and 60, let alone 90.

☀️The sun was shining in London for the first time since 2025.

It was a stunning reminder of why we're putting in the daily graft to build this community.

To take Founder Loneliness in London from 76% to 0%. 📉

And if you’re serious about growth, you’ve got to be willing to pause, come up for air, and create the space to think clearly around people you trust.

Our conversations at Hawksmoor over a medium rare steak ranged from £5M-£15M London business expansion, to our trusty safari crew checking in on the health of my pregnant wife. 

A few highlights + collab sparks:
 🥘 Noah Ellis (Nomadic Dinners) - exploring an overnight offsite: phenomenal food across 87 acres to reconnect with nature (and escape our phones for 24 hours).

 🥬 Rushil Ramjee (Urban Greens) - an Urban Greens x GC night: panels, brand promos, and a seriously fun evening.

Other nuggets that made me smile:
 ☀️ Escaping the UK winter… Portugal and South Africa are front runners
 ⛳️ A golf day with a group of 50 handicappers (Brett Hossack in charge of this)
 🎾 Fueling our members worrying padel addictions… sneak preview: David Seinker may have lined up padel on Safari in October!

First, David Seinker interviewed David Letschert the Co-Founder of BioOil, sold across 168 countries.
