TAFE NSW

I am responsible for the discovery, development and review of business process models to support process-based management and business improvement. I assist Business Process Improvement Leads and Business Process Senior Analysts with engaging business stakeholders to document and identify process gaps to enable the development of improvement strategies to support organisational strategic goals. 

This role has provided me with extensive project management experience. I have been part of 5 Tiger Teams that have analysed the business and worked with the key stakeholders to identify the requirements and gaps within the process, which have led to the successful implementation of new ways of working across TAFE NSW. Our projects have addressed these requirements and gaps with useful tools/artefacts and ways of working while also providing SMART metrics to measure the success of the implementation. 
•	Lead Analyst for the review of Teacher Onboarding at TAFE NSW – this led to the Teachers having role-specific onboarding experience that positioned them for the rigours of teaching at TAFE NSW. 
•	Analyst for the review of Teacher Currency, Competency and Professional Development – this review led to a more effective and efficient way of monitoring, storing and actioning on a lack of currency and competency for Teachers at TAFE NSW.

As an Internal Auditor I was a catalyst for improving an organisation’s governance, risk management and management controls by providing insight and recommendations based on analysis and assessments of data and business processes. I would use a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, operations, control and governance processes.

I provided in-depth analysis of the TAFE sector while also ensuring accuracy across the depth of the reporting requirements. My work included:
•	Coordinated strategic flow of business intelligence data to users.
•	Developed, updated and optimized business intelligence resources.
•	Compiled current business intelligence data into reports and presentations.
•	Analyzed product, market and share trends to evaluate competitive market strategies.

While at Wodonga TAFE I was promoted from Business Analyst to Senior Business Analyst due to my work ethic and results.

Senior Business Analyst

Perform weekly and monthly reports for the organization. Facilitate time management by working closely with IT to streamline reporting.  Ad hoc reporting and analysis. As the Wodonga TAFE Senior Business Analyst I have improved the accuracy of revenue reporting. I am continually looking at ways to provide key business metrics to key stakeholders in a efficient and risk free way. For 2016, we will finalize the dashboard design and get it into production and use.

Columbus State University

Financial Modeling, Asset Pricing and excellent Excel skills help me to exceed at my studies daily. Third highest score on the ETS exit exam, for CSU fall of 2012, which reviews the basic and core theories of Business Management, Finance,Economics,Information Systems, and Marketing.

I managed the performance of three soldiers, one vehicle and $3,500,00 worth of equipment, demonstrating strong moral character, intellect and respect. I was promoted ahead of my peers due to my responsibility, knowledge and effective and efficient use of resources.
•	Used active listening and effective communication to alleviate issues between personnel members.
•	Led diverse teams through combat and emergency situations.
•	Improved inventory control accuracies, ensuring proper maintenance of rifles, machine guns and hand grenades.
•	Earned the Bronze Star with Valour and the Purple Heart medals.

I am a highly-skilled Business Analyst with extensive experience in change management, analytics, project management, leadership and process modelling. I work to implement efficient and effective ways of working while looking for opportunities to automate and implement rigorous controls.

I completed a Bachelors Degree in Finance, with a Minor in Economics at Columbus State University, Columbus, Georgia, USA in 2012.  After graduating from University, I was awarded the Columbus State University Distinguished Alumnus in Military Service for 2013.  This award recognised my outstanding military service and outstanding achievement in my university study.  

I am a United States Army Veteran. I served as a Sergeant and a Squad Leader within a Cavalry Scout Platoon, with extensive experience in training, managing, and making decisions under pressure. My work with the Military was highlighted by my ability to bridge communication gaps, complete complex missions, and train staff in new ways of working. My Army career culminated with me being awarded a Bronze Star with Valour and a Purple Heart.
