If you want to understand where culture is heading next… follow the people building new spaces for it.

I’ve just come back from NUMIX Lab — a moving “idea laboratory” across Budapest, Veszprém and Vienna, where creative studios, venues and institutions from all over the world collided (in the best way) across culture, AV and tech.

We visited places where new media is genuinely thriving — Light Art Museum Budapest, House of Music Hungary, IZZO, and more. Different scales, different formats… same energy. The ecosystem feels alive. And honestly? 2026 is going to be a very interesting year.

I also had the pleasure of leading a panel on New cultural distribution spaces at the French Institute of Budapest with an excellent group:
Monika Tonk (kanvas Global), Ana Oliveras Daví (Alfa5 XR Sports), Claire Couriol (GL events Venues), Stéphane Roisin (Moment Factory).

Tahle zmínka ve Flauntu nás fakt potěšila. Není to magazín, který píše o každém. Sledují věci, které něco posouvají. A když tam skončí Signal, víš, že to začíná rezonovat i mimo naši scénu.

Líbí se mi, jak popisují Prahu — město vrstev, historie, starých forem. A do toho digitální umění, světlo, technologie. Přesně ten střet, ve kterém Signal Festival i Signal Space žijí. Je fajn vidět, že to někdo zvenku čte stejně a chápe, proč to děláme.

This Flaunt feature made me genuinely happy. They don’t write about just anything. They pick projects that push things forward. Seeing Signal there means it’s starting to land beyond our usual circle.
