Caterpillar's used equipment consultant in the North American Commercial Division.  Consulted internally and externally (numerous CAT dealers across North America) on used equipment issues and initiatives.  Conducted and managed the used section of many different rental and used business reviews for CAT dealers and also was a key team member of the rental & used review for a CAT dealer merger.  Extensive study of the used market and auction business which contributed to the creation of value retention curves for CAT and competitive equipment. Developed, implemented and launched an updated version of the Caterpillar Certified Used Program for Multi Terrain Loaders and Skid Steers.  Working with a team of colleagues, developed and executed the first NACD Used Equipment Marketing Seminar held at the CAT Training Center in Edwards, IL.  Compiled, produced and distributed an updated 2006 Caterpillar Worldwide Model Identification Guide.  Member of the leadership team of the Caterpillar Latino Connection, CLC - A Caterpillar Affinity group.

Managed the San Francisco Bay area territory and coordinated the first auction held at the Dunnigan (Sacramento), CA facility.  Dealt with the largest equipment/construction/transport companies in the Bay area.

Territory Manager - San Francisco Bay Area

Managed all consignments and purchases for the Southern Emirates (Abu Dhabi & Al Ain).  Personally managed all the buying/selling needs of the Private Department for the late President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.  Supplied numerous customers with a profitable way to convert their assets into the highest possible value at auction.  On average managed 30-50 contracts per auction.  Helped coordinate the companies first auction ever held on the continent of Africa in November, 2003 in Durban, South Africa.  Managed marketing efforts for the Middle East and Africa while serving in role of Sale Site Coordinator and Territory Manager in 2002 and 2003.  Continued to increase the customer database and added new clientele each auction.  During these years, developed a strong background in cross cultural business practices and also managing a team from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds.

Hired for this role as one of a few selected to take part in the first rollout of the Territory Management Trainee Program which consisted of a 12-18 month program with a extensive and intimate view of many different roles at each Ritchie Bros. Auctioneer's site.  Key team member in organizing the setup and layout of all auctions held in the North Central Region during this period including all marketing efforts, staging and layout of the sale and all web advertising.  Coordinated logistical efforts to assist large consignor to sell over $23 million in assets at over 12 different sales and auction sites across the USA.  During this timeframe gained a extensive understanding of numerous brands and types of construction equipment across many industries.  Assisted and eventually led appraisals throughout the region.

Built and executed successful strategy for three different State Representative reelection campaigns.  Operated and managed three different campaign budgets ranging from $250,000 to over $1,000,000.  Coordinated volunteer recruitment and allocation of their efforts.  Managed in-district events for new state government initiatives.  Coordinated numerous political fundraising events featuring national and statewide elected officials.
