I worked with the President's Transformation and Strategy Office on the first ever 10 year strategic plan. We developed the communication and marketing strategy to deliver the 42+ key initiatives across the university...a major endeavor!  

I also support Texas MBA and MS students to find their voice and showcase their skills so that they can start a career that gives them joy and purpose. I advise students on exploring a new career direction, strategizing a plan to pursue a specific industry or functional interest, and utilizing resources like LinkedIn to network and build their personal brand.

I managed the brand and marketing strategy for Software Advice which helps small businesses find software through human conversations, trusted reviews and research. Software Advice itself is a $50M+ revenue business and part of the Gartner Digital Markets portfolio of companies which includes GetApp and Capterra as well. 

As Software Advice's brand leader, I reported directly to the CMO of Gartner Digital Markets, and supported the brand and content strategy, creative development and execution, and SEO, email and paid media teams. Some of my best accomplishments include: 

-Launched a new brand identity for Software Advice including in depth brand guidelines, messaging, customer personas,  and a new website and marketing materials. 

-Launching a multichannel digital media campaign with a $3M budget. This was end to end, from strategy and planning to creative development and execution to paid execution and reporting. I personally managed the Direct channel forecast and profit and saw an iROAS from my YouTube spend of 1.4x. 

-Developing and executed a national partnership with SCORE, a key resource group for the Small Business Administration.  This included 2 national webinars with nearly 2000 registrations and co-branded content with new research landing tier 1 placements

In my most recent role, I managed a cross organizational branding initiative to re-envision what it means to partner with Microsoft, collaborating with over 50 stakeholders across the brand, research, marketing, sales, product and engineering teams from c-level to manager. I helped design a new narrative and messaging storybook for the Microsoft Partner Network, an ecosystem of 300K partners, that guides all sales, partner, marketing, support, communications and product leads’ program and content strategies.  My work reached 30,000+ employees with new messaging and generated 2M+ impressions externally around our new “partners make more possible” message

I also led partner evidence, telling the stories of partners and how they're transforming their customers. This means managing a program and team that can collect and write 30+ partner stories around digital transformation from across the company and globe. They are amplified on partner.microsoft.com and social media, and promoted through PR, executives, and partners’ marketing channels 

Previously I was the host of the Microsoft Partner Network podcast interviewing C-Level executives, authors, and change makers across Microsoft and the tech industry to deliver authentic and tangible conversations to business leaders. 

When I first started with the company, I was the demand generation lead for the Microsoft Partner Network, working across the One Commercial Partner organization, Business Groups (Office, Dynamics, Windows, Cloud and Enterprise, etc) and Central Brand teams to deliver digital marketing to our partners through social and paid media strategies, content creation, and PR. I owned our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and blog as well as the paid media and branding strategy to drive organic growth and engagement.   In 2017, I led social media for Microsoft Inspire, a flagship MS event for 17K+ partners around the globe, and garnered nearly 1B impressions through the event #MSInspire.

Why do I call myself a ladyboss? Because I'm an authentic, powerful and loving woman who's changing the world one soul at a time.

Marketing has always been my way to connect with people. My first role was at the marketing agency Walton Isaacson where I supported Unilever's AXE, running some of the first social media driven activations, including AXE One Nighty Only featuring artists like Diplo and Weezer. My time at WI taught me how important it is to understand different audiences and creativity.   

When working with Unilever, I realized that I wanted to lead a corporate brand and knew that a MBA could fast track that opportunity. Graduating from the University of Texas Austin, McCombs School of Business is one of my proudest moments. My MBA taught me the strategic thinking and discipline needed to land a role at Microsoft and Gartner where I entered into technology and B2B marketing, focused on scaling brands.   

The marketing agency, MBA, and corporate experiences built the ladyboss I am today. A ladyboss that is now a female entrepreneur, mother, stepmother, and business owner.
