Wow. We had a visitor earlier with a fantastic DM. Great work from Tungsten Media. It's grabbed the attention of all of us - a lot of oos and aas to be heard as the team explored the box...

It's brilliant, and the level of thought and effort is something else.

I won't spoil the impact for anyone that might be receiving one of these, so just a couple of pics.

The box is beautifully produced. The contents special.

And there were 4 figures inside, and we are convinced they look like the four of us to whom the box was addressed? 

In a world saturated with spammy AI-generated emails and messages, it clearly demonstrates the power of a great DM and inspired creative thinking.

Ever notice how the brands we love aren’t just flogging stuff? It’s more like they’re inviting us into something bigger…

…a shared set of values, they understand what we want, a real connection. 

That’s when people start caring about a brand, even obsessing over it.  

These days, we’re all looking for companies that align with our needs not just theirs.

It’s not just about flashy features or price tags. 

It’s about finding brands that appeal to what matters to us, that fit our lives, that feel human and genuine. 

That’s where the magic happens.

So if you’re building a brand, focus on what you stand for, why that aligns with your customers, and let that come through in everything you do. 

Thats when you become impossible to ignore.

Just finished reading the 10 AI marketing trends for 2026 in Adweek. Some of it's obvious, but a few points really made me stop and think.

Here's what stood out:

1. Work identity will break before org charts do.
The middle layers of marketing are being eroded faster than most leaders are willing to admit. Role confusion, quiet disengagement. It's happening now.

2. Artificial intelligence is no longer abstract, but planning still is.
We have the tools. We don't have the workflows. That gap is massive.

3. The middle of marketing will fragment.
Teams are going to splinter, figuring out what humans do and what AI does.

4. Personalisation at scale becomes the baseline expectation.
One-to-one marketing used to be a differentiator. Now it's just expected.

5. Brand safety concerns will shift from content to data.
We worry about what ads sit next to each other. We should worry about whose data is being used to train the models.

6. Search results will look fundamentally different.
Google's search experience is being disrupted. Full stop.

7. Creative output will accelerate, but quality variance will widen
More content, faster. Harder to spot what's actually good.

8. Attribution models will become obsolete.
Single and multi-touch attribution can't keep pace with how customers actually move through AI-driven journeys.

9. Agencies will need to redefine their value proposition.
It's not about execution anymore. It's about strategy, judgment and helping clients navigate the complexity.

10. The winners will be those who embrace human-AI collaboration.
Not replacement. Partnership. Humans and AI solving harder problems together.


The thing that keeps coming back to me? 

The leaders who figure out what human expertise actually means in this new world will win. 

The ones still measuring success by headcount and output? 
They're going to struggle.

It's melting my head a bit (a lot).
