I spent 13+ years in video, tv + film where I worked on saucy shows like “Wives with Knives” and campaigns for brands like Apple, Visa, and Johnson & Johnson. But life hates a straight line, so I pivoted to Copywriting.

I started Hudson Henry Baking Co. in my farmhouse basement in 2012 with one granola recipe. Over the next 10 years, I grew it into a 6× SOFI Award–winning brand with $1M+ in annual revenue, before successfully exiting in 2022.

The hardest part wasn’t making great granola — it was managing wholesale. Keeping track of 400+ stores, knowing when to follow up, and making sure shelves didn’t go empty was a constant challenge. I lost customers (including a major DC retailer) simply because I missed a reorder window.

That experience is why I’m building Kamille — a revenue growth platform designed to help food & beverage brands do more with the wholesale customers they already have. It’s based on the system I built for my own business, because I couldn’t find a tool that actually solved this problem.

Today, I also work with nonprofits and early-stage organizations, using data and systems to help them operate more effectively.

I lost one of my largest wholesale customers (Whole Foods P Street) because I was busy.  Baking..shipping..managing the team...doing everything.  They had been ordering 5 cases of granola a week like clockwork for over a year.  Until they didn't. They started ordering every 10 days, then every two weeks.  But I didn't notice.   I didn't check in. I didn't ask, "need granola?" Eventually, they stopped ordering.  I was crushed.  I scrambled and created a process to keep up with my stores.  The process evolved over the "granola years," but it was pretty manual.   Now I am building Kamille.  Software that allows you to set reorder goals and revenue goals for each store and be notified when it's time to check in. When it's time to ask, "need granola?" I've been avoiding launching Kamille for ages.

Not because it wasn't needed — I've known since "the granola years" that wholesale makers desperately need a better way to track existing customers and prompt reorders.

I avoided it because launching a product means risking failure. Hearing "this isn't good enough"... or worse, hearing nothing at all.

What finally pushed me:
When I ran my granola company, I used a scrappy system to track which stores needed to reorder. It wasn't elegant, but it worked — and helped me grow from zero to $1M+ in annual revenue.

After I sold the company, I kept meeting makers with the same problem: losing wholesale customers not because they didn't care, but because they were too busy making, packing, and shipping to fully manage their wholesale customer base.

And their accounting software wasn't built to help with reorders.

I realized the system that grew my business could help others. 

Then at Thanksgiving 2024, I discovered AI coding apps. First one...then another. Then finally, one that clicked.

So I built it.
