Making phone calls for independent advisors in Austin, TX, I quickly found myself drawn to the work.

By 2014, I was a licensed financial advisor, learning the ropes at firms like Edward Jones, Merrill Lynch, and Charles Schwab.

Over the years, I helped people at every stage of life:

Those just starting out.
Those at the end of their journey, focused on legacy.

And everyone in between.

Through it all, I prayed.
Prayed for God to guide me toward the most purposeful work I could do.

Eventually, it became clear—
My biggest impact would be helping people prepare for, transition into, and live in retirement.

Delta Sigma Pi - Delta Upsilon Chapter

Delta Sigma Pi Collegiate Chapter Advisors serve as officially recognized advisors for chapter officers and members, and also serve as liaisons between the chapter or the national Fraternity and the college or university. Not all chapters require extensive guidance, but all chapters benefit from having an informed and involved Chapter Advisor.

Chapter Advisor responsibilities include: 
• Staying informed about the content and requirements of Fraternity resources 
• Reviewing chapter finances with the Vice President-Finance as needed
 • Reviewing Chapter Management Program (CMP) progress with the executive committee
 • Attending a chapter meeting or event at least once every four to six weeks, and attending initiations (if a member) and officer transition meetings 
• Reviewing the Risk Management Policy and Individual Code of Conduct with the chapter 
• Providing signature authorization if needed, on university forms, letters of recommendation, and the like 
• Counseling members as needed regarding their Fraternity involvement 
• Increase Fraternity awareness among other faculty 
• Helping the chapter use faculty resources to assist with professional and community service programming • Recommending other faculty for initiation into the chapter
• Ensuring that the chapter is fully recognized as a student organization 
• Making the chapter aware of all university policies related to the chapter and its activities

BUSI 40010 (Business Internship) - Variable credit hours 1-3. Course may be taken twice for maximum of three credit hours. Pass/No Credit grade type only. Students gain practical exposure to business through participation in an internship in a business or community organization. Emphasis is placed on the development of applied skills in one or more of the business disciplines. Students learn about organization realities and work demands.

- Develop and lead the strategy and execution of identifying, hiring, and retaining 500+ students (annually) for internships, co-ops, and New College Graduates rotation programs throughout the US and Canada. 
- Developed and lead team of 10 customer facing TA professionals in delivering highly effective full cycle early career program

• Creates and mobilizes a roadmap for sourcing, connecting, and closing top talent across multiple U.S. & MX geographical areas.  Continuously monitors the implementation of the roadmap by the Talent Acquisitions team.

•	Serve as a liaison between meeting planner, meeting facility staff, and hotel staff.
•	Schedule a welcome speech for opening sessions from an Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau representative.
•	Provide contact names and phone numbers for various suppliers such as tour companies, entertainment, speakers, decorators, caterers, rental companies, audio- visual companies, etc. 
•	Assist with transportation, including trolley route information, airline schedules or private shuttle services. 	 
•	Provide DVDs or pictures highlighting various Oklahoma City destinations and attractions to promote attendance.
