Started a new app from scratch and posting it live 🧵

Step 1 - Ideation with Bricko.dev - I went for PantryPal an AI-powered mobile app that transforms your fridge contents into delicious recipes, helping you reduce food waste and save money. Simply snap a photo of your available ingredients and get instant, personalized meal ideas.

Me: 'AI will 10x my speed!' Also me: staring at why OpenAI Vision isn't parsing the image right for the 47th time. Humbling.

AI code tools are making it so more people can ship apps fast. Soon way more builders out there. That means distribution & actually getting users is gonna matter 10x more than "cool tech." Product parity is coming quick. I'm just trying to ship before I get buried in the noise lol.

So many AI coding tools now (Cursor, Bolt, Replit, etc). 

Easy to spend days comparing prompts & outputs instead of actually building.

My simple rule lately: pick one that feels least painful today → build something → switch only if it truly blocks you.

A month ago, I didn’t know how to build a mobile app.

No coding background. No prior app launches.

Today, my app is live.

I used no-code and AI tools like Vibecode and Claude code.

It wasn’t smooth. I hit roadblocks, made mistakes, rebuilt things, and learned fast.

But the biggest lesson was this: you don’t need to wait until you “know enough” to start.

Right now is one of the best times in history to start creating.

The information is there. The tools are accessible. AI removes a massive amount of friction.

If you’ve been sitting on an app idea because you think it’s “too technical” or “too late,” it’s not.

My last idea flopped because I skipped validation.

This time, I'm using Bricko for blueprints and Lovable prompts.

It's time to build smarter:

Sometimes, an idea only looks big because you haven’t validated it yet.

That’s why every builder needs Bricko outside the guesswork.

Get competitor insights, pricing, and growth tactics fast.

To evaluate a no-code idea, ask three questions:
• What problem is valuable to solve?
• What can I uniquely build fast?
• What is nobody else automating?

Sounds like great advice for builders too.

The ability to keep iterating through failed builds is a trait of a successful no-code founder.

My first app crashed hard.
My second one got zero users.
People love success stories, but failure teaches more about building in no-code.

Top skill for no-code creators: ignoring doubters who say “you need to code.”
