If your strategy depends on “people who are already looking,” you’re playing a very small game.

Capturing demand is important.

But creating demand is where leverage lives.

Most founders treat content like a lead catcher. They speak only to people who are actively searching: “Need help with X?”

That audience exists. But it’s finite. And competitive.

The bigger opportunity sits one step earlier.

The people who:

- Feel friction but haven’t named the problem
- Tolerate inefficiency because it’s “normal”

There are always three layers in your market:

This is where case studies, proof, risk mitigation, and a direct invitation come into play.

Speaking exclusively to stage three, you compete on price and urgency, but when you consistently create content for all stages, you build preference long before someone is ready to buy.

Shift your content from “Who’s ready?” to “Who needs to think differently?”

That’s where sustainable demand is built.

Your personal brand is a business asset. One that directly affects your company's valuation, your ability to raise capital, and the strength of your position when real money is on the table.

When investors evaluate a company, they're not only running the numbers. 

They're assessing risk.

A recognizable, trusted founder lowers that perceived risk. It tells investors that clients trust the person behind the product, not just the product itself. That the company has built something harder to replicate than technology or a pricing model. 

A reputation.

This is what creates a founder premium. Companies led by visible, credible founders consistently command higher valuations. Not because of vanity metrics, but because brand equity translates directly into business leverage.

The objection I hear often is: "I don't want to become dependent on social media algorithms" or "What if posting doesn't convert to clients?"

Both are fair. But they're missing the bigger picture.

When Steve Jobs stepped back from Apple, the company's stock dropped within hours. The market wasn't just pricing the product. It was valuing Jobs’ judgment. His vision, his ability to attract talent, and his relationship with the public. That trust didn't belong to the brand logo. It belonged to him.

Most founders won't build something at that scale, but the principle is the same.

The question isn't whether posting regularly will get you leads this quarter.

The question is: are you building an asset that makes your business more valuable, more resilient, and more trustworthy over the next three to five years?

In-person hits differently.

You could feel the ambition. The doubts dissolving. The breakthroughs happening in real time. When hundreds of people gather with the intention to grow make decisions, and elevate their standards, something shifts collectively. The energy becomes contagious.

If you're not charging premium prices, you're doing your clients a DISSERVICE.

I know, I know. It sounds counterintuitive. 

But here's the thing:

When someone pays "within their budget", the commitment is low.

They delay implementation.
They reschedule calls.
They “try” instead of deciding.

And then they say your strategy didn’t work.

Price creates psychological commitment. It’s basic behavioral economics. People value what costs them.

When clients invest properly:

→ They execute
→ They prioritize the process
→ They stay in the discomfort long enough to win

And that’s when results happen.

Premium pricing filters for readiness.
It attracts people who are serious about change, not just curious about it.

And for you?

1. Fewer but better clients
2. Stronger case studies
3. The cashflow to sustainably scale your impact

Lower prices often mean you work more, stress more, and dilute your energy across people who aren’t fully in.

That’s unsustainable.

The real question isn’t “Can they afford me?”

Because premium only feels expensive when the value is unclear.

I was booking 10 sales calls a day.

And I was miserable.

Cold email. Paid ads. Full calendar. Zero authority.

Every call felt like a battle — me trying to convince strangers why they should trust someone they'd never heard of. Most ended in rejection. All of them cost me energy I couldn't get back.

I was hustling hard. But I wasn't winning.

At some point, out of frustration, I started posting on LinkedIn.

The goal was not to become an “influencer.”

Honestly, I just wanted one simple thing:

If someone Googled my name before our call, I wanted them to find something that made them think,

 “Okay, she knows what she’s talking about.”

That was it.

What happened surprised me.

Within weeks, I signed a long-term B2B contract that came fully inbound through LinkedIn.

The sales call didn’t feel like a pitch.
There was no convincing.
No pressure.

I remember thinking: this is what it's supposed to feel like.

That was the shift. Not more leads. Not more calls.

I went from convincing to aligning.

And the revenue followed.

(For context, that one decision eventually grew to nearly 50,000 followers in two years. But the real value comes from how business feels now, not just a follower count or revenue generated. The ease and alignment are priceless.)

One outbound campaign. €53,000 in closed revenue. €100–150K in follow-on pipeline.

Then the client decided to run outbound internally.

Same offer. Same market. Same channel.

Performance collapsed.

When founders say cold email “doesn’t work for us,” this is usually where it breaks down:

The message isn't written from the buyer's perspective. It's written from the seller's.

Most outbound reads like a service description with confident punctuation. It explains what you do, positions it professionally, and waits for the reader to connect the dots.

Buyers don't connect dots. They respond to problems they already feel.
If the pain isn't recognized in the first two sentences, the email is gone — regardless of how well you explained your offer.

In the campaign that generated these results, 3 things were deliberately precise:

1/ The ICP was narrowed until the pain was specific and expensive.

2/ The message named one commercial outcome. Not a range of benefits, features, or “who we are” self-promotion lines. 

3/ The follow-ups weren't repetitive nudges. Each one introduced a new context or economic framing.

There's also a structural reason most self-run campaigns underperform.

From inside the business, the instinct is to explain and refine. From the buyer’s side, the filter is far stricter: relevance, urgency, and financial impact.

That’s the difference a strategic partner brings. Not only execution support, but more importantly, a strategic objectivity around buyer psychology.

And unlike scaling on LinkedIn through automation, email allows you to increase volume without putting your account at risk.
