As Co-Founder and CEO of Stat Legend, Chris is dedicated to making sports moments timeless for youth athletes through customized memorabilia.

Starting in 2023, Chris launched Stat Legend out of a passion for making youth sports more fun. Operating from a homemade basement office with his co-founder, Nick, he has grown the company from concept to delivering its first batch of personalized cards.

With a background in digital products and a lifelong love of sports, Chris spearheads Stat Legend's product development, recently releasing an innovative online card customization tool (CardJam!). He is also responsible for strategic planning, operations and connecting with potential customers and partners.

When not growing the business, Chris loves cheering on his sons at games and thinking of ways to commemorate milestones through unique keepsakes. Witnessing the joy a customized card brought his family strengthened his mission to spread more of that magic.

As Stat Legend enters its initial stages, Chris remains dedicated to continuous learning as an entrepreneur. He is focused on nurturing key partnerships, gathering customer feedback and prudently scaling offerings to best serve more communities.

Chris counsels and represents clients in a range of government contract issues, including regulatory compliance and investigations.  He conducts internal investigations to ensure compliance with government regulations and he also represents companies in litigation and bid protests. 

Construction 

Chris represents prime contractors, owners, design professionals and subcontractors in both public and private construction matters, both nationally and regionally.  Chris supports companies in all aspects of the construction claims process including assessment, preparation and litigation of complex design defect and delay claims.  Significant matters include: 

Representing a consortium of insurance companies in a class action lawsuit related to the design and construction of the New Orleans levee system. 

Representing sureties in a substantial delay claim against the Corps of Engineers stemming from a lock and dam project.   

Green Building

Chris represents both established and emerging companies in the green building industry, including contractors, design professionals, consultants, and owners.  He provides analysis of green building regulations, prepares contracts to appropriate risk, and resolves disputes arising from green building projects.  Significant matters include:

Preparing contract language allocating risk associated with green building certification for a design professional and government entity.  

Advising a major developer as to green building regulations, incentives and trends in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

As an entrepreneur with a background in technology, I founded Stat Legend, a youth sports company creating custom trading cards to showcase athlete photos and stats. Previously, I founded and sold an insurtech startup utilizing AI for insurance analytics (called RiskGenius). Now, I apply my experience scaling startups to help Stat Legend bring the joy of personalized memorabilia to youth sports families. Beyond building the business, I enjoy supporting my sons' athletic pursuits and exploring ways to make youth sports a more cherished experience for all through customized commemorations of achievements both on and off the field.

I fell into insurance (as many people do) after spending the early part of my professional life in marketing and special events. It didn't take me long to become excited about the many opportunities that the insurance industry presented, and I fairly quickly turned my love for details into a passion for compliance. I've been blessed to work alongside some of the most creative minds in the P&C insurance industry, and have spent nearly a decade honing my skills in the non-admitted space. Most recently I've embarked on an exciting opportunity to expand into compliance for the admitted insurance markets as well. 

As a leader, my coworkers will often use the words creative, empathetic, professional, caring and communicative to describe me. I am focused, honest, and believe in accountability and performing to my highest expectations. I also thrive in an environment where I can learn from and teach those around me and truly love learning new things. If I don't understand something, I will dig in and figure it out. I believe that clear communication is key and will endeavor to always understand and be understood. As a "Jill of all trades," I tend to pickup wherever my team needs help, nimbly willing to go the extra mile to accomplish the goal.

In addition to my experience in insurance, my background includes everything from planning and executing high-profile music industry events in Nashville, to producing annual sales meeting conferences for a multi-billion dollar company, to marketing and communication development for small businesses.
