Cheryl served as Chief Executive Officer and key vision holder of Lodgic Everyday Community, a fresh new retail hospitality concept created to address the hurdles working professionals face.

Lodgic was designed to support work-life integration and the flexibility that today’s world demands with hospitality-forward coworking, premium food-and-beverage, creative meeting and event experiences, and high-quality licensed childcare in a flexible format. These services operate all under one roof as Lodgic Workplace, Lodgic Kids Camp, and Lodgic Events alongside two sister food-and-beverage concepts (one full service and one fast casual), Everyday Kitchen Restaurant & Bar and Everyday Kitchen Cafe. Patrons are invited to use services individually or in any combination. 

She oversaw the opening of three locations — in Champaign, IL (2018); Madison, WI (2020); and Louisville, KY (2021) — as the launchpad for a concept intended for scalable, national growth.

Cheryl led this innovative branding agency's brand strategy, sensory positioning, market research, and business development functions. During her tenure, she was the architect and team lead for many transformational branding programs, including:

PulteGroup: Guided the multi-brand vision through redefinition of its corporate and segment-targeted consumer brands (Pulte Homes and Del Webb) and the acquisition of a third consumer brand (Centex) to become the nation's largest homebuilder. 

YRC Worldwide: Shepherded historic trucking and logistics rivals Yellow and Roadway to unite under a corporate brand position and identity. 

Visteon: Led the execution of a major consumer research study that identified key drivers of perceptions of "craftsmanship"; the study paved the way for billions in new contracts for Vision by cementing its reputation as a knowledge leader in consumer UX. 

PetSmart: Led the sensory research program to identify the visual, verbal, and aural cues that transformed the retail environment into distinctive, brand-reinforcing, practical, and cost-effective environmental design. 

Focus on the Family: Led the total rebranding of the organization from a controversial founder-led organization to a mission-driven one with a general-market audience; identified an untapped audience and created the social media campaign that led to a half-million engaged new constituents in 15 months; and stewarded the organization from a loose network of international affiliates to a truly global brand. 

Herman Miller: Defined the strategic position for and named sub-brand Convia, the company's first expansion into the integrated energy/programmable building management category (subsequently acquired by Wiremold/Legrand). 

Mary Kay: Led the redefinition of the brand to attract younger consumers and expand its global footprint. Built consensus around a common strategic platform among global executives from six continents.
