I currently write for Indeed.com, where I develop articles around employment data and culturally relevant topics for job seekers and employees. 

I also provide freelance strategic communications support for Arizona-based non-profit Elevate Nepal. I oversee our email, website and social media marketing, managing a social media writer and reporting directly to the organization's founder. I also assist with grant writing as needed.  

Previously, I worked as a freelance writer at email marketing agency Antidote, crafting compelling, conversion-oriented email copy and subject lines for a B2C and D2C brands.

In this role at Ludlow Kingsley, I helped to develop a comprehensive content strategy for a veterinary start-up, spanning their blog, website, social media, email marketing and Google ads. Additionally, I created strategic brand messaging for start-up and legacy B2C and B2B companies. I wrote copy for websites, emails and marketing collateral as needed, collaborating closely with the agency's strategy team, project managers and designers.

At Aker Ink PR & Marketing, I played a pivotal role in developing content strategy and copywriting for our roster of B2B clients. During my time at this agency, I developed 100+ SEO blogs and website pages for a variety of companies across industries, including law, cannabis, construction and more.  

I managed communications, including press releases and social media posts, for one of Arizona’s leading non-profit law firms. I also assisted with a communications strategy to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, creating blog articles and social posts 

Finally, I provided writing mentorship and editing to junior team members.

One word we gotta quit: "Vibe." 

John Scheer was the first person I heard call this out in a creative review, and it has stuck with me ever since.

“Vibe” feels fun and breezy. Innocuous. But creatively? It does nothing. It’s a placeholder—a stand-in for language we haven’t bothered to reach for yet. 😶‍🌫️

When people say “vibes," they usually mean something far more specific: 

Tension. 
Warmth. 
Personality. 
POV. 
Atmosphere.

But when we collapse all that into "vibes," we skip the real work of naming what we *actually* want something to feel like. And that’s the part that makes creative work strong—the specificity. 

Standout creative isn't built on vibes. It's built on clarity and on shared language. So, yes, let's ditch "vibe." Not only because it's overused, but because the work gets a whole lot sharper when our words do too. 🗣️
